I'm going with a switch hitting C or OF like Posada or Mantle. SDS loves the switch hitters.

Just like LS collections. If you aren't:

You won't even be remotely close unless you play like 10 hours a day. Not complaining, just telling it how it is. I played a ton the first 3 weeks, have none of those and still 1.2 million or so from finishing N.L. I have the A.L. done. Packs really dry up once you get the TA's done.

Apparently some pitchers somehow aren’t updated for the scripts all the time. So when you face a cheater and bring in certain pitchers they all of a sudden can’t swing after scoring like 7 P/P homeruns in a row. Pretty funny tbh. Still haven’t faced one so I doubt it’s as common as people say but I have seen pretty wild clips.

I played like 3-5 people last year that I legitimately thought were cheating and I had a ton of games last year. Easily surpassed that number already in like 10% of the games.

You've likely faced someone with one of the cheats. The chronus pitching isn't as obvious but plenty out there. Pretty prevalent so far this year.

You also have the glitch where you get frozen at the lineup screen and the opponent sims the game for you taking the win while you take the loss.

This game like all other online games are infested with cheats. Sony and Microsoft let it get way out of hand. I fail to see how the device companies are smarter than the people Sony and Microsoft can find to combat it. Comes down to not wanting to spend the money it would take. Sony/Microsoft should just add a $1 or $2 to the yearly subscription and put that towards a company or people that can get rid of all these devices. Win/win for everyone. Sony/Microsoft doesn't have to pay them out of normal subscription prices and games get cheat free games. Blows my mind this hasn't been done yet.

Trust me. He isn't the only partner/streamer cheating. 90% of streamers are scum. Unfortunately, a ton of sheep watch them and therefore, the gaming companies think they help the game. They are usually the shadiest gamers.

I sent them feedback on this like 2 weeks ago. However, I am not a streamer so it doesn't matter. Evidentally, enough streamers said something so they acknowledged it. Or at least pretending to because I would be shocked if they started banning all (yes partners and streamers too) cheaters.

My point is they were bad last year (like 26th) and did basically nothing to improve this year. They are great at finding pitchers but horrible at finding and developing hitters.

LOL. OK. If they ever handle cheating the correct way and don't whitelist players (like COD), you would see a MASSIVE difference in the leaderboard. That being said, it will never happen. Big games like BF6 and COD can't keep up with it. No chance for a company that won't get dedicated servers.

I have. I think they are more geared for the younger generation. Think you will see a lot of kids wearing the gear.

This might be a good thing for people to do that watch games closely. I have watched every Royals game this year. I told people at the beginning of the year that they did not do enough to boost their offense and so far it is looking correct. They have the 3rd worst offense in baseball.

Garcia - Could and should get a bump. When I saw he and Vinnie rated the same I just had to laugh. Garcia is a thousand times better than Vinnie. I think he should be a diamond at some point unless he has a really bad slump or injury. Great player and phenomenal defense.

Witt Jr - I think he is the best all around SS in baseball but he has underperformed so far at the plate. He has been on base 30 times and scored 1 run (Thanks to Vinnie and Salvy). Has yet to hit a HR but finally doubled in 3 straight games. He went like the first 8 games or so with no extra base hits. He could very well get downgraded.

Salvy and Vinnie - Both hitting sub .200 with Vinnie I think around .150. I don't think Vinnie is near as good as Royals fans think but he is a notoriously slow starter.

Carter Jensen - Has 4 hr's already. Technically I think this is his rookie season. He has a chance to be a great hitter. I actually think he should be hitting 3rd or 4th right now with Salvy and Vinnie's struggles. Good player to keep an eye on in the future.

Caglianone - Really young but he has a lot of swing and miss. Only in his 2nd season but needs to learn the strike zone.

Wacha - Dude is flat dealing. Chance for rating to go up. He has given up 1 ER in like 21 innings. Possibly a good player to invest in.

Bubic - Really been pitching well. Bad outing against the Brewers but had 2 outs with no one on and the Brewers put up 4 on him. Another one that may go up if his next few outings are good.

I think it was last weekend out of desperation I bought a 50 pack because at the rate I was going I wasn't getting Ohtani until September despite having A.L. done so I thought WTF can't get any worse. Didn't help.

Really about the only way I can earn packs now is a TON of grinding on the fan TA. You know 25k xp for 10 pack kind of thing. I needed 10k for the Yankees to get that 10 pack and went through 2 mini seasons with nothing but Yankees pitchers and got around 5k.

How about clearing the cache and rebuilding database on PS5?

Do you have T-mobile? Is that still a thing? I know T-mobile people used to have trouble with The Show online. Fiber?

I also uninstalled/reinstalled the game. Could have got a bad update.

Well I used to have around a 2-3.5 era most shows. I was over 6 before the past week or 2. Think high 5's now. I can't pitch to anyone. I can throw dots and 500 rated players still hit them. That was until I dumbed down my fiber internet which really seems to help.

Could be wrong but it really felt that packs were nerfed this past weekend. I opened up a TON and got Jakob Wilson. Of course my Chase pack was a gold.

Every online game is the same. Coors field with at least 7 switch hitters. Also amazed at how many people are dotting with low control pitchers.

Valid point but if you can't do one of these things: get lucky with pack pulls, 10 win BR runs, flip or spend money what is the difference? Without these you are not getting the collections done for a very long time.

-EA/2K likely to have dedicated servers which would be a huge plus. -Would these companies have PCI shrinkage? Doubtful because it makes zero sense.
-Cheaters making there way into this game too heavily which didn't really happen before. EA would definitely have more resources to combat that.
-Talking about resources, I think EA would have many more and better legends

Would there be cards you just can't buy? Maybe but I have that now with SDS. Best cards are in collections you can't do for a VERY long time without those things and the best cards in the store are the chase packs which I can't remember ever pulling the chase card. I think the dedicated servers, legends and game play would be better benefits at this time. Years ago I wouldn't have said this but now I think differently.

I think it is time for RTTS after this. Just played someone that torched all my pitchers until I told him I was reporting and he magically stopped hitting. Played high level ball and can't even see the ball. Feels like pitchers are pitching from 30' and the ball appears the last 20. I've had many times where the game hasn't been fun and think I reached my edge. I don't even care about getting high in the ranks (actually don't have a chance in hell anyway). I can dot pitches all day and people hit them like I'm throwing slow pitch softball. I've dumbed down my internet as much as I can. Game actually plays better with bandwidth limiter at 10/10 but still is awful. Regular 900/900 is comical. Might even go back to golf. I don't have to worry about Timmy stealing McDonald's wifi down the street. Feel like I grinded mini seasons at least 50 times for absolutely nothing.

Problem is, you cannot earn that pack unless you’re placed in silver 1 (500 rated ) or above for weekend classic..

For silver 1 (500-599) you have to win all of your first 6 games for the pack.
Silver 2 it’s 5-0 .

Here’s something for ya..the placement for divisions is broken.. I was supposed to be silver 1 and got put in bronze 2 meaning I can no longer earn the pack..

After reading twitter; there’s many people having that issue as well.

One guy was supposed to be in gold, got put into bronze 1…
This game is terrible

Since this latest patch hitting feels like a powerpoint slide show. I played D1 and minor league and can't even see the ball. I got shutout on allstar for the first time ever in a 9 inning game.

Fiber internet, great router and $500 monitor. Really starting to wonder why I'm playing this game. Severely unrewarding and can't even see the ball online. Offline is great of course. Might just head on RTTS after this Laggy Classic.
