Let's not pretend that they don't issue these cards to other teams. Willie McGee started out with a SF card. Ortiz got a Twins card. Ozzie Smith has had a Padres card. Lou Brock got a Cubs card in the past.

Good move but I would still like them to address 3rd party hardware. However, since it doesn't affect their dollars I don't see that happening. Don't like YFK but when he says they only take action when it affects their dollars he isn't wrong.

@tripleh-4481_psn yeah I've noticed the forum engagement has dropped off a ton. I know there's typically two drop offs- one at the allstar break, and one at the end of the season and then it fluctuates from there depending on if the game gets tossed in the "Free for +/gamepass" things etc.

That would be my guess and from my understanding, in KC I am 8 driving hours to the nearest server. My understanding is servers are in NW (maybe Washington), California, Colorado, Texas, Florida, Chicago and NY. Seems to be an awful lot of elite players around these areas or very close. For instance, Philadelphia is close to NY. My guess is elite players almost always connect to the server close to them. That could easily explain the differences in pitch speeds. I see some crazy all star pitch speeds.

I haven't played much this season. Played a ranked game a few days ago and it was zero fun. My average this season has dropped like 80 points with most of my best players. Been catching up on a lot of movies and TV shows.

I have found in years past that the game plays noticeably worse the more players leave. Usually plays really bad around November. Maybe that is starting earlier this year.

As someone who's tried all of these, I disagree. Pinpoint is by far the hardest. But it's also the most fun and most accurate. I had to legitimately sit in custom practice for a week before I felt comfortable enough to use pinpoint, where meter was the default I used when I first touched the game.

Idk man, maybe if you are just learning it might be hard, but after repetition it is beyond easy. Guys can throw superdots that scrape the outside edge of the zone all day on pinpoint.

Yea, we call those scripts. The PARS of most pitches should not let you touch the line every pitch.

Why do you think there is a thing called streamer luck? All they have to do is add a group to the servers to increase pulls for usernames placed in the group. The whole gaming industry is shady af.

To an extent. Different games have different learning curves. I made WS using a gold lineup the first season of the first year (2017) I really played DD. I was a top solo player in PUBG very early and still have the screen shots of my top ranking. As a legit player I struggle to get kills now because everyone is John Wick. You don't just "magically" become good at a video game 6 months+ into it unless you just didn't play much early or now you have devices to help you.

This community loves to hate on the elite players as tryhards and sweats. I don't hate elite players at all. I do however hate cheaters. I'll take PUBG for example. They just had a big tournament and a very prominent player did a really deep dive on the tournament and concluded that ONLY 44 of the 100 people that won tournament money were legit players. This includes a player that was reported numerous times. A PUBG employee stated they were not cheating. Days later that player received a permanent ban (which really isn't permanent because they just create another account). If you don't think the majority of high level players in any game aren't cheating, you need to open your eyes.

I’m a pretty good player but I can not keep up with the top guys. I matched up against Brenton the other day. He is a late night Twitch streamer with a decent following and like 1,500 games played.

He is obviously better than me and is already over 1,000 ranked points. He proceeded to message me talking trash, bunt danced and replayed home runs completely unprovoked.

Honestly just makes me disgusted to be a part of the community and not want to play.
Of course, I can just forget it and move on, but I feel like it’s worth at least bringing up.

Don't sell yourself short. Streamers are notorious cheaters and the gaming companies know it. I said in a post a while back streamers and/or cheaters have absolutely killed online gaming. However, for some reason the gaming companies think they need these low lifes to sell the game which they don't. I flat despise streamers and think they are scum of the earth. Majority (not all) are just low life pos that will do anything for views and money.

I am 3 cards away with 2 costing around 400k and the other around 115k. I have the stubs but right now can't get myself to spend 800k on 2 cards. I know as soon as I buy them another card will come out for that collection.

The Chase pack in the flash sale. Should have been a “random” Chase pack with a guaranteed Chase OR guaranteed choice Chase pack between two random Chase cards.

I’m sick of getting 85 live series cards in these packs.

I got a whole LS PCA for my vault pack grinding for 70 hits. Just another unrewarding waste of time.

I'm not offended either. They trashed online, I can't stomach it. Nothing to do and its cesspool of cheaters and toxic players. Not worth the time or energy. That's why I stay offline.

Unfortunately, that is what Sony and Microsoft have allowed to happen. I will always maintain streamers and cheaters have ruined online game play in every single online game. Lose just the cheaters and the games would be great. Lose both and it would be heaven. I find it very hard to believe Sony/Microsoft couldn't add just $1 measly dollar to everyone's subscription and put that solely toward online cheating. There's someone out there that would do that it for millions of dollars.

Precisely why I'm not doing this. I am very aware of my pack "luck". I don't think I've pulled a chase pack in 2 years. I might have enough right now skipping the mookie and spotlight (literally only have like 40 of these). Not sure I want to spend 300k on several cards to it though.

I was playing PUBG more recently but it is infested with cheaters. May try BF6. Yes, cheaters on there too but I can respawn.
