@ChuckCLC5755 I would agree with you. The more to grind the better. But last year all everyone complained about is that conquests were too much and boring. I loved they were being released weekly but most people especially on this forum are mad about everything,

@ChuckCLC5755 Look trust me I get it. I wish for more content rather than less. But my argument goes towards this community as a whole. When they did drop these quick programs there were also people complaining. "A quick 20 minute program that gives you stadium sounds and an 86 and a 88 card that no one uses". They give you free cards but none are good enough to make the team

@blitz77tw Like what do want them to do? By no means am I an SDS fanboy, but I also am happy with where the game is at. People were complaining that event cards were too hard to get in a week so they made it two. The BR program and RS programs were easy to complete and it was fun and not to hard.

I just don't know where this game wins for people.

Look I get this game is not as good as some people wanted, but it still has the best experience for no money spent players out there. Diamond Dynasty was so great because you didn't have to spend a dime on the game to have a good team. Madden Ultimate Team and 2k MyTeam are almost unplayable without buying extra packs.

Are there things that I wished were different in the game? Yes. Are they moving towards micro transactions to improve your team? Yes. But is this still a good game and a good experience for those who don't want to spend money? Yes.

I love the power creep because it is fun to use lower overall cards with swings that I like. I do wish that they reverted to the innings programs, but I am not mad about the way it is set up now.

There is just no winning with this community. These cards are too bad. These cards are too good. There are not enough packs circulating, yet they don't have to give out free packs at all (MUT doesn't and neither does 2K). Not enough conquests, but conquests aren't worth it.

If you don't like the game then delete it. Nobody is forcing you to play this game.

I will leave a positive comment. A quick way to get the TA’s done is through team build. If you utilize the team captains correctly, you can use players from just about any single team and be competitive in RS. I played a guy 2 nights ago who had an absolutely loaded team including Big Jeter. I had cards from the Royals lol……and won. It’s not a bad game. Frustrating?? Yes at times but it’s not bad. I’m also very critical of SDS but the game isn’t bad!

Exactly that is why I stay refreshed on the game. I test out different teams and cards to see which ones I like. That’s why events is my favorite mode because it forces you to use new cards.

Sounds like something an SDS dev would say undercover. Long paragraph about how they gift us these programs that take 1.5 hours when all it gives you is useless collection cards and 5 packs that give you commons and silvers with a total of like 2.5k stubs. Same cards too just different colors and names on it

It’s 7-10 cards that can be used in the set collections. Everything is optional and you don’t have to do them. But if you do it eventuales turns into the best cards in the game. I don’t know what more you want.

just take a look at the shows subreddit and it’s just a bunch of people actually discussing the game, content being released, etc etc… and most of it is very positive…

Come here and the first page of the DD forum is just a bunch of people complaining about how bored they are or how “horrible” the game is(when the game has obviously improved greatly from last year, gameplay and content wise)

I think I have a theory why it’s like that- let’s just say I feel like majority of users on this forum are just “out the loop”… in so many words

I’m glad there is a large part of the community who enjoy this game. It is a hard game and often frustrating but I feel for the most part it is a very well made game

Look I get it. At some points this game is boring and frustrating. It’s a HARD game. It seems like everyone likes to complain about every little thing that SDS decides to do. But at the same time I think SDS has created the best Diamond Dynasty/MyTeam mode there is to offer from sports games.

People complain about the same game being released with a different cover athlete year after year. SDS listened and tried a new format which was and IS refreshing. Instead of giving everyone 86 overalls on day one that are obsolete by June. Turned into 95 overalls turned obsolete by June. They just gave us better cards sooner. But people still have to complain.

People complain that the content is flat and not worth grinding. But at the same time SDS doesn’t have to release these programs or cards or conquests. If you don’t play the game three hours a day for the most part there is always something to do. If you don’t want to play online you can play offline through countless of modes added throughout the years to make it better for those who like the offline grind. If you only play online they refresh ranked seasons and BR rewards. They didn’t have to add the incognito or kaiju programs but they did.

The best part about this game is you can play it and have a competitive team without spending a single dime on the game. The offer countless of free packs and rewards just by playing. People complained in previous games finishing the XP path and having nothing to do so they added a reroll. There are free packs through conquest and free cards through programs and TA. I get it that it looks like it is shifting towards Madden making cards no sell and things like that. But at the same time people complained about the BR rewards being yanked in price cause everyone was able to get them.

There is so many things people find to complain about the game. In reality I think SDS has done a really good job listening to the community and they keep pushing out content. Even if the cards aren’t as good as others you can use them in events or try them out in BR.

Anyways that’s my piece of mind.

This might be a little biased opinion but the event rewind reward pack is bogus. I’ve been sitting on 3 Nolan Ryan’s from the very first event. My thinking behind this was that only a limited amount of people were able to play that event so the Nolan Ryan was “rare”.

I was sitting on it hoping that when the master collection comes out his price will go up. It was already sitting at about 33k over the last couple days.

Now this pack rewards the people who didn’t play the event and they get the opportunity to get the reward cards. Not only tanking the price of all the cards but making my time spent in the events worth nothing.

If I would’ve known they were going to do this pack I would not have played the atrocious event at Forbes.

I understand the other side of it that some people did not have the game yet so they couldn’t get the cards. Or not everyone has the time to play every event.

It’s whatever at this point still gonna hang on to them, but the cards should be available only for the event. I can’t remember them doing this in the past and definitely not this early. Defeats the purpose of getting the wins in my opinion.

This event is terrible and should never be added back to the game ever.

This event is a blast and the field is great for gap hitters and speed guys. The only bad part I found was the difficulty seeing the ball out of the pitchers hand during the day. Other than that I didn't feel like exit velocities we're low and I felt the ball traveled well.

I’ll hit with good exit velocities but everyone has 90+ speed in the outfield so they run everything down. I’m putting the ball 420 into the gap but it just hangs too long and turns into the longest fly out of all time.

Seriously you don't know ? Its pretty obvious to me just play an inning or 2 and you can see their gameplay doesn't match up with their batting averages and massive amount of HR's. I know when I'm paired up with a good player using zone. Here's a tip if they crush everything inside they're using directional or timing , if they crush everything thrown everywhere well that's timing and if they take pitches and then crush stuff in the strike zone then they are just good and using zone.

You can’t look at batting averages and stats to judge how good someone is. Stats count when you play against your friends in DD. You can just pump fastballs down the middle and of stats.

Plus there is no way to know who is using timing or pci or directional. If you don’t like the game just stop playing then.

No it’s a PlayStation player and we are still in it. Actually helping I’ve gotten some of the work done so far

I’m currently up 3-0 in the event game after hitting back to back to back jacks off of this guy and no we are stuck in a freeze off.

Usually I’m the type of person to just give it about 5-10 minutes and then just quit because I don’t really care. In the amount of time that most freeze offs happen I can accomplish much more.

However in my case, this freeze off might be a blessing in disguise. I have some work that I need to finish that I have been pushing off because I wanted to play. This just gives me an excuse to get the work that I need to get done actually done.

Ranked seasons unfortunately is something I haven’t focused on. 400 innings is just way to much and I don’t have the time for that.

I’ve enjoyed events so far and have been doing the BR program. Doing that takes up a majority of my time. All that combined with the programs that come out is too much.

So I only play ranked if I have nothing else to do or want to play a full 9 inning game. I’m only 4-0 rn with about 27 innings

I’m never in a rush unless theres a specific player I really want. This years selections weren’t bad but not for me. I’d rather save my stubs and sell my unused Live Series cards to be able to buy different program/WS/BR cards.

The only card that looks appealing to me is the Chase Utley card. Maybe the Mussina but I’ve just been playing the events and the BR program to get all my cards. Getting packs along the way.

Outside of 1 OF spot and 1 SP spot I enjoy my team and playing with my team. I have loved the combination of FOTF Jazz, Seager, and Devers in my infield and don't want to replace them yet.

Last year I got the collections completed somewhat early but found myself getting bored of using the same cards over and over again. Having the best cards right out of the gate was just not that fun for me.

I don’t see the point of waiting 18 hours there is no way it could’ve been worth it. It doesn’t matter how the other guy is playing. The fact that you are waiting 18 hours proves the point why freeze offs are a problem.

The longest I have ever waited on a freeze off was 45 mins to an hour. That’s only because I had to [censored] and had to shower. Otherwise I would’ve quit after 10 mins max.

Waiting 18 hours is pointless only to get a win. Out of the scenarios you could’ve been playing there is no way that it was worth it.

If you were playing ranked seasons and quit, you maybe lose like a max of 20 points. The ranked season program path is based on innings this year not wins so it’s not like winning would’ve been anything special.

If you were playing the event, you wasted 18 hours of possible wins you could’ve gotten. The event is free and you can enter as many times as possible.

The only way I see it being anything close to worth it is if you were 11-0 in BR. Even then the flawless rewards are like max 50k.
