With all the programs, conquests, collections, missions, and showdown (those things are big chunks of xp), it's super easy to get 350k, and that's without even playing that much. I don't know what to tell you.

No. These type of cards, especially br, are meant to be somewhat rare. How about next time you start working the market earlier, and buy them sooner if you can't earn them. Not everything is meant to be a handout.

That post is a year and a half old. Do you make it your purpose to dig up ancient threads. Otherwise, stuff it.

Might as well go back to playing with maxed out caps at all eight positions. Only difference between then and now, is the facial features. There's now no difference between a true legend of the game, and a pretty good player. But hey, as long as people get to play with their favorite player, it's all good.

Luck. Couldn’t get more than 2 hits in 2 games for about 30 min this morning.
Then I got 5 in the first game, barely got the 6th in the 2nd.
Dashboard man, dashboard. If you get five in the first, it's a done deal.

It would probably be best for you, if this were your last show. You obviously don't have the time for this type of game, and there are plenty of others out there, where you don't have to really invest any time into it.

4 games with him and i have a 8 era. I crush him when i face him.
Your game history doesn't show that you even have him, or that you've gone up against him. You need to find something else to do, besides jacking around with another user. Last thing this forum needs is more bs, especially flat out lying.

I kinda agree, most people play this for 6-7 months and have never seen or used Babe Ruth since SDS paid for his rights, it’ll be the same thing next year. Some people wanna feel super special and grind every card to tell you how easy and free it is...3500 hours later. I’d rather SDS unlock all the players early but force people to choose between them without the ability to unlock them all until a much much later date. That way we’d actually get line up diversity with great cards day 1.
So how do you propose to make the SS Alex Gordon's type cards useable? How do any of those cards become usable when you can get 99's? How do you propose SDS drive stub sales throughout the year when there is no excitement of new cards? How do you keep people engaged?
Because you guys are still struggling to grasp the very simple concept (Which SDS already does to a minor degree) that you don’t GET a team full of 99s the first week, there just AVAILABLE the same way Kershaw Ryan and others were this past year. Just add more choices, and room for choices to be made.
Alex Gordon was useable for people that wanted to use him. He was quite easily replaceable at anytime. I would have liked to use SS Bautista or Edwin anytime before 9 months of the game had passed, why not make Edwin, Gordon, Goldschmidt and the other mediocre SS available at the same time? You can choose yours I can choose mine. I don’t need mine, yours, and 15 different everyone else’s. There’s no reason to make some cards like those available 9 months later in the 9th inning 100 star choice pack and Alex Gordon the first month. Some people’s teams didn’t even get a SS for half the year how is that fun. Just let people choose what’s the harm?
Why release Gossage and the final Moments extreme segment with a month left? If anyone could have beat those missions in the first month with regular diamonds or golds they should be rewarded. People would rather sit around and wait for another treat from SDS is the issue. Jump, roll over, play dead, then these 120 games and collect your SS Vlad.
That's not the point. You are not getting our concept.
If we can PICK any player, why would anyone pick the Alex Gordon type cards? If you can pick Babe Ruth or an example Edwin, why would anyone pick Edwin?'
If every card available first day, people are obviously only going to pick the Babe Ruth's of the world.
Lol yeah just add Babe Ruth into the mediocre SS pool I was talking about. I’m crazy, I thought he go in the higher tier choice with the other 99s but you probably forgot about them because your taking Babe over Chipper Griffey Williams Thomas Gagne Gwynn Henderson Trout Kershaw Rivera Alomar Schmidt and everyone else. It’s strange, it’s almost like the decision becomes harder the MORE cards you add to the choice not the opposite.
And stop calling a thread you didn’t start and an idea you don’t agree with “Our concept”
Why wouldn't we add him to the pool? Your idea is ALL cards being obtainable right away correct? The only difference is we have a choice and can only select a few a a time. So those few that get picked will be the obvious Babe Ruth's of the world.
And once again, you failed to address "How do you propose SDS drive stub sales throughout the year when there is no excitement of new cards?" I know why you are ignoring it's there, you have no answer, so just continue to pretend it's not there.
And when I say "our concept" I mean Trucker and mines concept of why it doesn't work, not the concept of the OP. But you knew that, just wanted to sound smart. It's ok, if it makes you feel good, you do you,
Lol why’re you so obsessed with me making SDS more stubs? I ignored it because I don’t need to come up with a strategy for SDS to make more money off stubs and bring it to you for approval. If I really needed SDS to make more money on stubs I’d suggest adding contracts, historic jerseys, position change consumables, training consumables and everything else EA does. Maybe we just need to pay 1000 stubs for each conquest game. Should we add more tax on the market? 20% 30% That would really help them fill there pockets no? Are these all great ideas? No, not everything needs to be based off making SDS more money to buy player rights so they can constantly release them in February again and again.
And nobody said everyone’s available and we get to ChoOsE A FEW eAcH TiMe lmao. You really want me to have said I want Mays Griffey and Ruth day one but I didn’t. At any point. You just keep making stuff up for some weird reason only you and Trucker have the brain power to comprehend.
Stop playing dumb. It's not about you coming up with ways to make SDS stubs, but rather seeing it from their point of view. They're going to do everything they can do to maximize profit, which as a business they have every right to do. Now whether that means putting all the cards up front, or trickling them out over the year, is only something they can determine.
-
I've got almost 4 million of them. Why on earth would SDS ever let me carry them over, as that just costs them money. Instead of just seeing things from your perspective, you need to try to see it from their's. They're a business, and as a business, their goal is to maximize revenue. The day it makes financial sense for them to let stubs be carried from one year to the next, is the day they allow that.

Frankly, I think directional should be tossed altogether. There's more to batting than just timing; placement is just as important.
-
Friggin hilarious. You get to do the beta, something most on here really want to do, and you think you might get to start the game with a stacked team and stubs in pocket. You'll get a gold card in appreciation, and you'll like it.
-
Ever think that maybe this game isn't for you. Instead of asking them to make showdowns into a snoozefest, maybe you should put in a lot more practice.
-
Cold day in hell. I don't why this has to keep on coming up every two or three months. Might as well lock this thread now; it's just going to turn into the same pissing match that it always does.
-
Absolutely love having a cap. Best player on the field in three different positions, and lights out at short. Switch hitter, with the batting stance I want. What's not to like.

That is shitty.
Whatever. This one's totally on you.

No teling. What's make it even worse, is it isn't even showing how many have been sold, a problem that SDS is surely aware of.
-
Absolutely not. You do this, there's no reason to even do br. Further, these cards are meant to be scarce.
I'm not going to go 12-0, but I like the rarity of the card. You shouldn't have everything in the game, unless you're great or are willing to work the market like a second job.

@raesONE said in 12-0 Flawless Idea for 21:
Ideas like these have circulated before. I don't think this will ever happen because despite them being unsellable, this would take a lot of stubs out of players pockets who live in BR because the demand for those exotic cards will drop substantially. Those million stubs should go to the players who did the work and put in the effort to get where they are, not to the developers (basically just erasing stubs from the game's economy).
So let's say everyone can buy a 99 Chipper Jones for 1M in a non-sellable pack, everyone has millions and so everyone who can't go flawless will get him this way instead. Then I go flawless in BR the legit way, but I can't unload my Chipper because the demand for the card is now nonexistent as a result of these packs.
As a regular 12-0 player myself I therefore strongly oppose the idea and I think this whole market development where everyone has millions of stubs but can't buy cards because of the lack of availability should be mitigated in a different manner.
I get this, but you are in the top 1% of this game as a player that can go 12 - 0 in BR in this game.
We need to think about the other 99% and make sure everyone else has some kind of chance at these BR rewards. Otherwise it systematically creates a kind of inequality of access which shouldn't be the case.
Sure, perhaps BR rewards should be somewhat hard and expensive to attain, but not the current state with this limited of a supply. Its a surprise that this kind of structural advantage for 12-0 players exists.
It massively rewards players who are already reaping more rewards than the rest of us considering how good they are at the game.
[censored] on that. That's called a f'ing participation trophy, something that I am adamently opposed to. We're not all equal, and we're not going to have equal results. You have what you should have; the opportunity to go 12-0. I probably won't ever go 12-0, and I'm fine if they want to make them unsellable. Sure; I'll be bummed I missed out, but life is full of those missed opportunities.
