Either the hitting window is completely broken, or hitting is RNG. It did not feel this way before patch 1.04.

Thanks! I'm gonna try him out. I will say, I've never had any issues with Judge in RF through 20 Ranked Seasons games.
@samguenther1987 Acuna is better than Judge in your opinion?
Thinking about purchasing Acuna for my main lineup and putting him in RF. Currently Evo Cargo, FotF Buxton, Judge from left to right.
Can anyone give me some insight into how he hits and fields?
Much appreciated.
@SHOW_TIME_ryan I definitely get a feeling that I'm being nerfed at times. It seems to be game to game. Depending on the way the game's going, I might be smoking balls for extra base hits or smoking them right at fielders. It's easy to tell when you mess up. And that's on you. I get that knowing you did everything right and still producing an out is how baseball is, but this is a video game. And when it happens more often than not, it isn't fun.
@SatrdaysR4DaBoys Luckily I haven't run into the fielding issues. I think pitching has improved a bit. Pitching seems like the meta right now. I'm only in Wild Card but I'm 15-4. It's amazing how a game can be so frustrating that going 15-4 feels like s*hit.
@TheHungryHole Pitching definitely feels good, but hitting doesn't. There needs to be a balance. And if not, favor hitting every day.
I am not. Good/Good is a complete waste. It's never solid contact. The claim that Perfect/Perfect results in a .700+ average on balls in play is false. At least now. Three Ranked Seasons games in a row: 2 for 10 on Perfect/Perfect.
It's the same story every year. The game launches in a good place. A week in, everyone complains and SDS panders. Now we're stuck with this hitting engine that doesn't reward skill. Launch week was a blast but now it's just become frustrating.
Now trying to figure out how/why I need to adjust on a pitch inside or out (which was timed perfectly), but flew out lazily to dead center, causes more confusion than it should. You shouldn't be throwing your hands up in disbelief when you square up balls with guys with 90+ power but it barely makes it to the warning track. What else are you supposed to do?
The pitch speed increase was the only thing they did right. You shouldn't be able to square up 99mph fastballs without sitting on it. The speed differential works well. But now that hitting is RNG, there's no way to game-plan from AB to AB.
I just wish the focus was on rewarding solid contact above all else. In my opinion, nobody wants to feel like you're swinging a wet noodle with cards like Face of the Franchise Juan Soto. It's just not fun.
Welp, that sucks.
No one else experiencing this?
It's not only live series players. It's the entire team. Even after editing socks to how I want.
Anyone else having this problem?
I bought Stance Socks off the market to equip to my created player. I also equipped it to my team, but I didn't like the look. Now that I unequipped them, they still show up in game. I've tried editing both home and away socks in the uniform editor, but it still shows the stance socks in game. Anyone have a clue how to fix this?
