First if you read this and don’t agree, simply back out. I’m not trying to argue or debate with anyone. I’m simply expressing my opinion. I’ve owned every copy since the show was born. I’ll admit I’m frustrated. Instead of getting better, it’s getting worse! I like the realism of the game, but SDS is getting away from that. Some user like Fantasy baseball and I’m fine with that. Not everyone does though. More emphasis is being put into DD every year. I get they’re trying to make money, but at what expense? The integrity of the game? Producing 5 different cards for 1 player? Producing a prospect card rated better than veteran cards that haven’t even played in the majors? Yet we can’t get accurate rosters? MTO the rosters are set before the game launches, and won’t be updated? Why? Is it because it isn’t a money making cash pot? It seems it’s ONLY ABOUT THE MONEY, NOT THE GAME! Stadium creator, really? Like I’m saying, yeah stadium creator is exactly what this games been missing!!! No it isn’t. You can’t even get accurate rosters, which should be in all modes. I wanted a refund after seeing just a little of the full game. Mostly because it’s mainly about fantasy baseball. I was told no. Period no refund, it’s our policy. What aggravated me mostly is they could’ve told us the bad with the good. Put that info in the live streams. Don’t wait till I download it then offer information, like MTO having set rosters. Then refuse to refund me because I’ve downloaded the content. Rougned Odor is taking a slot on the Rangers roster and didn’t even start the season with the Rangers. If you want to make Diamond Dynasty for users who like it then cool, but don’t neglect modes that made The Show what it is! Don’t water it down with a lack of creativity, and put everything into DD mode. I bought a PS5 just for, and anticipating the show 21. Now I want to sell the system. My passion for this title is gone. Sorry to others who love DD so much that they can’t understand this. Was I really supposed to be excited about Next Gen feature stadium creator??? Put some effort into the gameplay, making it better and somewhat realistic to the real game of baseball. Perfect Perfect, or stadium creator, or 2 way players just don’t get me excited. Yeah this game is all about Diamond Dynasty and money. You won’t complete programs unless you enjoy tho online trash and grind against other users. They can’t even update the rosters for MTO. Trying to get my money back. I’m a baseball fan not a fantasy baseball fan. This is fantasy baseball

Are the March to October rosters gonna be updated? I swear this game is getting to be all about Diamond Dynasty and MONEY!!!

Just curious if I should cancel the Deluxe edition and buy the cheap edition since they only wanna reward online players with the best cards. That is a fact and was in the live stream. They will give the best rewards to online users, not every one who purchased a copy

So again this year if you choose not to deal with the unrealistic online gameplay against other users, you might as well not even play diamond dynasty correct? I find that rediculous!

4th inning Omar vizquel 3 stars for doing the program? GD this game fkn sucks!!! Regret buying the digital version and not being able to at least sell it and recover not even $5 of my money back. Lol, but highly doubt it!!! This game has gotten to the point of tricking you into buying stubs. I’m guilty, but learning my lesson. It’s not about realistic baseball anymore. It’s all about DD, and what SDS can make off of it. The exact reason I don’t play Madden like I use too. Seriously and completely unrealistic. I will NOT be purchasing another MLB The Show Franchise again. This game could be a lot better!!! I doubt that will trump stub sales. Glad you wrote this thread and hopefully they’ll read it. Obviously he hasn’t bought packs for 50,000 stubs and received about 4,000 stubs worth of cards. All they’re trying to do is get your money. Unless you’re lucky enough to pull Trout and get 300,000 stubs for him. If you don’t like what I post just STFU!!!!

So is it safe to say if you don’t wanna play online, that there is absolutely no reason you should play DD??? Seems if you’re don’t want to play online you can’t complete programs! So I actually shouldn’t have purchased this years copy, and just continue playing 19? I purchased my copy as well as everyone else, but because I choose not to deal with servers dropping me, or glitches, or hackers who have a record of 200 wins with only 10 losses, that I won’t be able to obtain cards, or complete programs, or get to experience the full benefits of mlb the show 20??? Am I understanding this correctly??? Buying the game, playing the game isn’t enough to complete programs? I have to play online or just not play DD??? Because that is exactly how it appears!!! You’re not putting enough moments in the game to complete programs without me having to do certain things online against other users! Please explain......

Really? Absolutely sucks! Program stars are almost impossible to get. Gotta pay stubs to earn program stars, not to mention the grind and hours you have to put into the game. Only ones that will disagree with this are the ones that are successful somehow. I find it’s gonna be very difficult to reach 300 program stars, much less ever reach 1,000. Is this supposed to be fun???

I really don’t and never have understood where or how they get their player ratings. I can tell you I think it stinks that Chris Paddack is gonna come out with a rating of 84 only playing one season with a 9-7 record. Yet they rated Corey Kluber, a 3 time All Star, multiple season winning records, and because he missed 2019 with an injury you rate him the same 84? Mind boggling! I guarantee if he would have been signed by the Dodgers, Red Sox, or Yankees San Diego Studios wouldn’t have hesitated to rate him close to or around 90.
