I never understood this. I play on a 65 inch TV with 60 fps, and can just about make it to WS (currently at 860). But people choose to play on a 27 inch monitor for a competitive advantage, but how much advantage is worth the QOL decrease of sitting at a desk unless you are a streamer/youtuber
Nobody asked you to understand it tool. I was looking for recommendations not your view from your couch. But thanks for your input
I do notice a big difference but I don’t do it often bc I sit at my computer desk 10 hours a day working from home so I’ll take my chances in my recliner
I’ve pulled multiple Harpers, multiple LeMahieus (when he was Diamond). I’ve pulled probably 15 diamonds this year and it’s basically a rotation between 3 near quicksell players
I'm 47 and just ordered my first monitor to play DD online. My question is how much of a difference does it make to those that use them. Hopefully it helps picking up pitches better than my Phillip's tv on game or internet video setting. Thanks guys
My TV is has really good input lag performance. Especially for a 65" tv. It gets 10ms. I have a 1ms 4K monitor and I can tell a major difference. Even the least saavy person will notice the difference. Which monitor did you get?
You realize you are mixing specs correct?? Your monitor has 1ms of response time not input lag. Your monitor is probably very similar to your tv’s input lag specs and any perceived difference between the two is strictly a placebo effect.
The faster the response time, the quicker the image gets displayed. The quicker the image gets displayed, the faster the input lag is. Thus resulting in better performance (from the user & display). They are directly correlated.
I think that it is actually better than previous years because sometimes they actually miss this year.
The one that bugs me is how many SS can range into the grass deep in the hole between SS and 3B and make jump throws to throw out even average speed runners, while my SS has issues throwing guys out when he even has to take a few steps towards third.
