I mute the commentary; I want to hear the game.

I've muted the announcers for years. Wish I could do the same in real life for most of them now.

My first go around was corrupted (two way player; not sure what happened).
Second time I went #6 overall (probably because I picked my favorite team instead of choosing "don't care who drafts me"), went to college and got picked #1 overall.

The part that gets me is having to do the showdown. I'm terrible ... TERRIBLE at showdowns, so I'm not going to even try this program.
Oh well.

I thought mini sessions was a one off until I saw it offered different rewards. Now I can't help myself.
This mode is fun!

I don't know how many packs I've opened and have yet to get a Chase pack. Not sure what the percentages are but it's zero for me so far.

I just picked up two more for a total of three. I'm not getting the other ones so I'm gonna sell for other cards. I'm still focusing on live series.

I've been told to log out and log back in, but I still have the same problem.

I was a directional hitter for years before I finally convinced myself to switch to zone. Zone is much more rewarding, especially on solid hits when comparing the two.
I am curious how you're certain you're playing a directional hitter, as power swinging doesn't typically yield the results you speak of based on prior experience.

I haven't even tried to be honest. Seems like a pain. Maybe I'll jump in and see what's what before the new stuff comes.

I've noticed more of my base stealers getting bad jumps of late. 99 stealing and they're standing there until the pitcher is halfway done with the delivery...ridiculous.

Haven't bought a pack in years; I only open the freebies. That said, I pulled Tatis a couple hours ago, now I'm probably going to finish the NL West. One division down, five to go.

If you like older music, you'll hear jazz and other tunes when playing certain classic stadiums such as Sportsman's Park and Griffith Stadium. The music pops up occasionally between innings.
As a fan of jazz and other upbeat tempo music, this is a fun little thing by SDS.
