mine is working now, i think there was an update

Yea since the update I have been unable to do anything. Either I cant choose my pitcher or if its something like showdown it just crashes.

Got this done saturday. I will probably use the 1 mil i was gonna use on randy and just buy the current event guys and chill for a couple of weeks.

Wasnt fun but glad to have randy

The schedule says this season lasts until 12/12 at 3pm PT. My guess is the next one is the forever one

Stupid question, but let's say I have a starter that cruises through the 5th, and then starts getting shelled in the 6th and doesn't record an out. If I replace him and the reliever gets all 3 outs of the inning, does that still count as an inning pitched within ranked? I assume it would, but haven't tracked that myself.

I pitched a perfect game yesterday because apparently my opponent was grinding innings by bunting to first base the whole game.

So I was 6-1 yesterday for 23 innings, I got 18 innings out of my last 2 games. I had to bunt the first 5 innings in the first one, he scored 3 then in the bottom of the 6th I scored 2 and he quit. The other one I bunted for 5 innings he scored 6 and I lost 6-5 lol. If you go up too quick or they don’t score they dashboard or quit. It’s sad SDS has made it come to this

When I play there are a few triggers that will get me to quit. A World Series Avatar, a created stadium, or a created player. Anyone else and I will usually stick around all game regardless of score.

I am basically just avoiding a game that seems sweaty. Usually i can tell in the first inning

Yea im grinding it because i accidently put in a buy order at 10 mil instead of 1 mil so it caused me to be over 500 or so in line. Regardless theres not much else to do so ill just grind the innings. Im almost halfway already, its not that bad

Ok these are good things to know. I havent touched rank really till now. I knew about the extra innings thing but was unaware of the rest. Good to know that a pitcher must start and finish an inning to get credit.

Anyone having an issue getting innings to count properly. I think it was ok monday, but now im noticing on my full 9 inning games, I am only getting credit for 8. Anyone else having this issue? And if so, if I quit after 8 do i still get credit for 8. Just trying to grind these out the quickest I can before my head explodes. Thanks

SDS might want to rethink online gameplay on some levels if so many people would rather put in a bid for 1M than actually play the game...

Many people have so much stubs that they put up an order even if they plan on getting to the innings or ws anyway

yep, that last roster update was bank. I am probably somewhere between 15-20 mil stubs with Mantle already so theres nothing else to spend on

You never took an economics class, did you?

You have this upside down bud (and BTW I have a degree in business economics).

Time in game is meaningless this late in the cycle. If they offered him for 1 million stubs some casuals might come back into the game and drop some real life $$$ to buy stubs and try him out before the game dies. No point in doing that when he is impossible to buy.

SDS gets nothing out of forcing dudes who have 5 million + stubs to play 50+ sweaty hours of Ranked Seasons to earn the Big Unit.

Per my math, it's more like 20 hours. I just play 1 ranked game, or 9 innings per day ( whichever comes first). It's not a terrible grind if you spread it out.

That's nearly a month of play to earn his card. Won't the game be over by the time you get him?

Sure but if you are still enjoying the game what else is there to do. Content is basically done, so might as well work towards something.

I accidently put my order in for 10 mil so by the time i got it fixed I was order number 513.

Regardless having the BR program done and not much else to do I am just gonna try to grind 250 innings. Use it as an opportunity to play casually online and not worry about the results. I think I can easily make 250 innings before my order fills at this point. I dont expect Randy to fall below one mil and if you dont have an order in already you might not see him for months without earning him

I am bummed that i wont be by my console, Hope the app doesnt suck but it took 5 minutes to get the trout order in a couple of weeks ago. and these orders are gonna take a lot longer to fill then the BR ones. Might just have to punt the next event and focus on RS

If you compare him to Degrom and Burnes of course he doesnt match up but he is still a pretty good pitcher with insane hitting stats and quirks.

Plus giving him outlier on the fastball compared to his other card should help differentiate the speed from his cutter

Glad I made it a point to make sure to have old bosses. Also saved my Br Rewinds and was able to make 500K off duplicate Joe Morgan and Mussinas.

Its def gonna be tough with those old bosses for most people unless they drop some kind of rewind pack but that probably wont be right away

The fact that it was Trout explains why they could not reveal it early. Given his involvement with another game, they cant promote him

Stupid App. Couldnt be at my console so im 125th in line. Should hopefully have him by the weekend tho. If it was a ranked reward i'd be more sad

Do you really want a better version of Randy Johnson in the game? He’s probably still the best pitcher, and a major collection reward. But, I guess I understand wanting it, just don’t want to face him.

Given the way/direction this game has gone I 100% expect another Randy and might as well throw Frank in there too.

In game: Probably just Utley and Kluber. I am missing under 10 cards at this point and could buy those if I wanted but just gonna wait till they drop.

Not in Game: Ohtani, Trout, Mantle and hopefully a flashback Ketel Marte or somepoint
