    Training screen

There has been how many updates? 11? And SDS doesn’t care enough to make progression/regression numbers appear in franchise mode on the screen for position players through ELEVEN 11 GD updates. It worked for years prior to 21. And now, who cares? Put some numbers on the screen. It’s not hard. You just don’t care. Big thanks.

Glad to know reporting bugs doesn’t matter unless you pump stupid money into stubs. Guess my $90 didn’t matter to complain about some franchise stuff. FIX THE TRAINING SCREEN DISPLAY FOR POSITION PLAYERS!

Just through play. It takes a month or so before any attribute changes happen. I have not noticed any player potentials changing this year, though.

Also, I have not noticed any players gaining any potential. Previous years always had a few players per team having potential up and down arrows, and none this year. A quick check of the top 50 prospects screen will show not one player’s potential changing throughout the season. Yes, it’s confirmed through multiple seasons and teams.

Hmm, maybe mid may or something like that. I play with Kansas and can give you an example - Bobby Witt Jr started as 71 overall and in august he is 73 overall. I am also fairy confident i saw progression/regression earlier than mid may on some players but in may/june it took off.

I play on PS5 if that have any importance. Probably not.

Thanks for the reply on that, did you play through spring training at all notice any player progression/regression there???

If you talk about the first spring training, before the 2021 season i simed that, day for day, game for game.
Can’t remember any development in player attributes during that stage of the season unfortunately.
Yes, certain players, with enough at bats or innings will show progression/regression by the end of spring training. Not all players, just a select few.

Yes, development happens for all players. BUT, position player progression/regression numbers are not displayed on the training screen at any time during the season. I don’t like to auto train every player, so it would be nice to change his training method without having to open the player screen. It works for pitchers and catchers, it should work for all players in every position, not just pitchers and catchers. Why are some people okay with mediocrity? It displayed for years, it should still be displayed now.

Sorry, I must correct myself. After 40 games I see training effects only on pitchers and occasionally on catchers. All other positions have no changes at all due to training

Yup. Same thing. I reported the bug twice. See what happens soon.

Exactly like the topics states, position player progression/regression attribute numbers do not show up in the training menu, but +/- numbers for pitchers do. Just stating it

You can have 4 man rotations in the game. Move the 5th starter to the LRP position. Keep batting lineup/pitching rotation changes to manual and you’ll have a 4 man rotation until you change it.
The game automatically drops to a 4 man rotation in the playoffs anyway from what I’ve seen. It doesn’t show up, but your 5th starter is rarely or never used.

Yeah I know how to do it. I guess I more so mean stamina wise it’s not really sustainable even tho it’s hypothetically possible irl

If you knew this, then what was the point behind your question? It’s a game, play it how you like. I just answered your question, which you already knew the answer to anyway. There’s no other way to do it except for that.

If you’re looking to keep realism to your lineup control, Bauer ain’t pitching every 4th day. Too much money spent on that arm.
