Trevor Bauer/ Stamina
-
For a guy like Trevor Bauer who always talks about pitching on 3 days rest and claims he would be better on 3 days rest than 4 and in the one instance he was able to this past year. He proved that. My question is. Would there be any way to implement this in franchise mode? Where if a guy has 95-99 stamina that you could actually use him every fourth day for the year? I mean if it’s something that could happen in real life it would be cool to see in game

I think you'd have to manually put him in the 4th spot every time he's pitching off short rest. That's what I have to do in franchises where I'm making a playoff push/run and want my ace in a tight series. Regardless, he'll get very fatigued very quickly I'd imagine.

You can have 4 man rotations in the game. Move the 5th starter to the LRP position. Keep batting lineup/pitching rotation changes to manual and you’ll have a 4 man rotation until you change it.
The game automatically drops to a 4 man rotation in the playoffs anyway from what I’ve seen. It doesn’t show up, but your 5th starter is rarely or never used. -

Each player loses/gains energy differently in the game so I don’t see any reason why this couldn’t happen in-game.
Pitchers however may be programmed slightly differently to avoid just this. Which, if so, really should be corrected so that the scenario you described is possible.

If you knew this, then what was the point behind your question? It’s a game, play it how you like. I just answered your question, which you already knew the answer to anyway. There’s no other way to do it except for that.
If you’re looking to keep realism to your lineup control, Bauer ain’t pitching every 4th day. Too much money spent on that arm.

Because if I actually do what you said in game. He will lose stamina and always be pitching without stamina. Where as in real life, according to him, he’s better when pitching on 3 days rest. Not mad or anything. Thank you for your answer. But my question was about stamina logic. Not how to pitch a depleted pitcher whenever I want
