Doesn't really matter what item you flip, just look for decent amounts between the sell now and buy now listings. Also remember quantity over quality, it's better to flip a ton of items for let's say 200 stubs per flip than to look for hitting the jackpot on every flip.
This is the way! My thoughts on flipping are in order of importance...#1 Volume, #2 Ease of the Flip, #3 Margin. If I can do something a lot and with ease, then the margin is much less important. Try and think about things that are happening in the game and the things people are buying and selling.
Last year was my first year and I learned a lot as the year went along. The thing that I always did was think about why something worked when it did. I would try to flip something and then would realize that it worked well or didn't work well. I would always take time to think about that and it really helped me out as the season went. The way I flip will change as the year goes along...there are just different elements that bring on the volume necessary to really make flipping worthwhile.
There are also a lot of things over the next few weeks that should open up some more margins on things. I feel like once games start and people start seeing how players are doing and you have inside edge changing day to day, it can really bring in some bigger margins.
