Give AI a physics book so maybe it will figure out that a 97 mph fastball isn’t going to be hit where all the catcher has to do is stand up and stick is glove out to catch it…also AI may figure out that pitchers aren’t going to field their position perfectly every time. Also AI may figure out that in the middle of summer in Texas that having the manager and coaches wearing a jacket is stupidity…but hey..what do I know

Of every out I make in this game of being a espn/mlb network highlight play but my team can’t field a simple ground ball quick enough to turn a double play half the time
-
The problem is that the game stops but it seems the ball keeps going…I show good timing on it but when you watch the replay the swing is late..I dunno
-
I am seeing something that I can’t figure out if it is my internet or the game..I go to swing and there is a rotation of the view and it freezes for a second and it makes my swing slow or off..is that natural? Never had this problem with any other version
-
Can they cut out the ridiculous amounts of pop ups that the first baseman or catcher get to that should be in the stands or out of reach…I have never seen so many pop ups on outside pitches that are up be caught 30 feet into foul territory.
-
It was raining the other day when I played against Seattle and the roof was not closed. Just pouring and the announcers said they’re little “ the umpires are going to have to make a decision about playing with the rain blah blah”. The easiest decision would be to close the roof. Craziness

That would require them to actually put some effort into rtts…that isn’t happening. They add a bell or whistle and call it new and improved although nothing has changed with basic game play in four to five years. The first baseman still catches pop ups that should be 25 rows into the seats. The catcher catches foul balls by standing up turning around and sticking their glove out. Pitchers have become the most dynamic fielders on the field. Every other at bat is an espn highlight catch. The opposing team still bunts with two outs and the clean up hitter at bat with the bases loaded. To add something to the game would require them to actually put effort into it. That isn’t going to happen.

Going to wait and see what the consensus is from the masses. If the new college football game is better…I am buying it instead

If the new college football game comes out next summer…MLBTS will not be on my must buy list…this game has actually gotten worse , in certain areas, in the last few years and I just won’t buy it
-
Did they intend for foul balls that are hit with good timing to go straight up and the catcher doesn’t have to do anything but stand up and catch them. A 94 mph fastball, in the zone and I timed it good but got just barely under it and it popped out to the catcher? Come on now…that ball should have been 30 rows behind the plate. The amount of pop out foul balls in this [censored] game is ridiculous…

I only play rtts but I can tell you that I don’t get that many foul balls. In fact the only foul balls I hit are to the first baseman or the catcher and they are on pitches that would realistically be ten rows up in the stands. I lead the world in foul balls that the first baseman has to take two steps over the foul line to catch. And most of them are on outside borderline strikes at 97 mph. It is so unrealistic that these are foul balls that stay in play. Now I hit for a realistic average and have appropriate power numbers for my players ratings but it just amazes me how this game is so unrealistic in this aspect. I have been told I could change the sliders but why should I have to change a slider to get a realistic outcome?

I have figured out what the game is based on…fast pitch softball…it is the same dynamic…97 mph pitches on the outside corner should not be popped up to the first baseman…they should be thirty rows up in the stands…the whole action of this game is basically fast pitch softball

The CPU infield is made up of all star super humans. I have 115 speed in rtts and I hit into 20 plus double plays per year. I get hitting the ball hard at them but when the third baseman back hands one behind the bag and throws a missile to second and the second baseman launches a throw that has flames coming off of it to get me by two steps…they might have tuned it up quite a bit. I get making amazing plays…but every game is getting old. Also…how many 98 mph fastballs up and away get popped up to the first baseman or catcher where they don’t have to move at all…
Have you noticed the speed of your runner gets noticeably faster after hitting 1st base? slow to 1st, blazing to 2nd and 3rd.
Getting out of the box can be a balancing act…I also noticed that when I go to turn a double play they can fly down the first base line

I wouldn’t say it is completely trash but it is just a repeat of the general play that had been the last three years. I play mainly rtts and one of the biggest complaints has been hitting the pitcher with a batter ball and the ball bounces off then perfectly and you are out on a throw. I hit a ball 112 off the pitchers hip and it bounced off him like bullets off Superman’s chest and he quickly ran to the ball and threw me out by three steps. I have 115 speed…the pitcher then proceeds to throw another five innings of one hit ball. 112 solid to the hip should at least caused him to be taken out of the game…but not this super hero…it is stuff like that which has been in the game for too long…
-
Played in it twice..the guy I was against the first time hit 22 in the first round…I hit 21 and pulled the last four balls foul…the second time the guy I went against his 19…I hit 18…both times the guy I went against was beat out the next round because they only half what they hit against me…I just garner large amounts of hate in the home run contest from my opponents

On mine there was one trade all year long one year…I understand that trade logic is hard to figure out for computers but really? One trade all year long? C’mon

I want to know why I can’t sell some cards? I don’t play DD and I don’t want any cards I can’t sell for stubs. I play RTTS and have no desire to play DD and I work through all these levels to get cards I can’t sell to improve my RTTS player…I would rather not have them as opposed to having them and doing nothing with…what am I going to do with a Trout card and some of these others I could sell for major stubs. And why give me these cards when all I play is RTTS? Makes it worthless for me to attain higher levels
-
I get it once and a while but it is happening every game or every other game. I know there are diving plays and sliding catches but when it becomes routine then that takes away from the game. These highlight reel plays are not realistic
-
Evidently the opposing team never hits a foul ball. I have yet to catch a foul ball playing first or second. Now I can swing at a 99 mph fastball on the outside corner and hit it to the moon straight up and the catcher or first baseman can catch it. Whomever creates this game either doesn’t own a physics book or has never actually played the game of baseball. 95% of the caught foul balls in this game should be 15 rows in the stands but that would mean that I would get extra pitches to actually get a hit.
