That would require them to actually put some effort into rtts…that isn’t happening. They add a bell or whistle and call it new and improved although nothing has changed with basic game play in four to five years. The first baseman still catches pop ups that should be 25 rows into the seats. The catcher catches foul balls by standing up turning around and sticking their glove out. Pitchers have become the most dynamic fielders on the field. Every other at bat is an espn highlight catch. The opposing team still bunts with two outs and the clean up hitter at bat with the bases loaded. To add something to the game would require them to actually put effort into it. That isn’t going to happen.

The only thing they change was the load outs and got rid of some the better parts of the game. The teo way player [censored] was a waste of time. The same ole crappy commentary( Is the catcher from the Cubs really that young now) they just ripped out some of the popular parts to feed the DD cash cow and basically made the RTTS players eat a [censored] sandwich to be able to still play...20 wasn’t perfect but it was better than this [censored]

Before the crash a couple days ago my hitter was crushing...now I can touch a baseball and if I do it is a ground ball and a double play...lovely

Why do I get cards that I can not sell in the market? I don’t play anything but road to the show and I don’t want to play anything than that but I reach all these levels and get cards that would help me get stubs to buy equipment that I need for my RTTS player but I can’t sell them. I don’t want them but yet I can’t sell them

For the last two years I have played this game thinking this was just a glitch and maybe it was just something I was imagining. In my second at bat of a game I beat out a infield grounder. A nice little message pops up that says I have been replaced due to injury. I don’t pay any attention and I just sim the game the rest of the way out. Not only was I not replaced...I ended up hitting not one, but two homers and driving in five runs. After the game I was placed on the 60 day injury list with a pulled/torn calf muscle. I have pulled a calf muscle in real life. Not only would I not be able to hit a home run I would barely be able to walk. Earlier in the year I had a blister on my finger ( I am a second baseman what does a blister have to do with anything) and I was replaced only to get two more hits. Am I a robot that can play out the game and then cry like a little girl after the game or is this a major glitch that hasn’t been fixed.
While I am at it...why does this game still have runners taking out the second baseman on a double play? I mean they are low shouldering me on simple double plays. Also, does anyone at SDS own a physics book? If a pitcher throws a 95 mph fastball up and away barely in the strike zone and I am early/late on it...the catcher should not be able to stand up out of their crouch and catch the ball on top of the plate. This has happened six time in the last two weeks.
I love the game but they have some issues that they either don’t want to fix or they can’t fix

I am more worried about the massive number of foul balls that the catcher or first baseman catch when you barely make contact on a 97 mile fastball on the outside corner. Makes you wonder if the devs ever actually played baseball or even watched it before. 99 percent of the foul balls that get caught in this game should be 30 rows up in the stands but instead they are outs. Crazy. Followed quickly by the massive amount of drag bunts by left handed power hitters to the first base side. I get bunting in a shift but not to the first base side.

Nope…hitting is a joke…you can get good wood on a ball and it is a pop up…ball down the middle abs you time it perfectly and miss…yeah…this is the last year for me to buy it

If the new college football game comes out next summer…MLBTS will not be on my must buy list…this game has actually gotten worse , in certain areas, in the last few years and I just won’t buy it

Of every out I make in this game of being a espn/mlb network highlight play but my team can’t field a simple ground ball quick enough to turn a double play half the time
