I was on this morning before work and when my players weren't Oompa Loompas I thought the pitching was pretty well-done. I'm kind of stoked to play now when all of the other issues are fixed.

@Sarge1387 there's no way this isn't a troll. Blaming customers for a company releasing a buggy product and then busting it when they tried to fix it? If the patch was hurried and not ready, they could have let us know and done it right. This level of thinking is ridiculous.

Hitting is fundamentally broken. Other than striking out, the worst thing you can do at the plate is square up and hit a line drive.

Bronze CPU fielders still have the glove of Ozzie Smith and the throwing arm of Bo Jackson.

I’ll play because I love baseball, but I must say that the game this year is probably the biggest disappoint of the year to me as far as gaming goes. Never been this frustrated before and then they have their shill Ramone go on stream and say that everything is working as intended.

Oh man, I will be. I'm probably a lot older than most on here, but this man was the person that made me love baseball growing up and was my sports hero. I'm super excited but at the same time since I refuse to spend a dime on stubs, I know that it's going to be a heck of a grind.

I honestly think the hitting would take a step forward if they just calmed the CPU defense down a little bit. Sure, there are sometimes when I get super frustrated because I've squared up into a perfect-perfect double play, but as the old saying goes, that is just baseball. However, what isn't baseball is a bronze third baseman making an absurd diving stop, getting up, and throwing a 90 mph strike to the first baseman for the out. That isn't baseball. That is overpowered CPU defense. Toning down the defense would allow for more hits and everyone goes home happy.

Foul [censored], to me, seem to be fixed. There are some at-bats where I'm throwing double-digit pitches, but it's not as extreme as it was at launch.
