This is the state of modern gaming, an obviously flawed product is released to the public, the public posts negative feedback, many others in the community mock the negative poster, so nobody fixes the game because enough people express satisfaction despite its objectively mediocre quality.

It’s not fair that they exclude Mets legends like timo Perez and Luis Castillo. At least make a Bobby bonilla card that costs 10k stubs up front and 1k every week afterwards.

I’m sorry but the developers really need to investigate their idea of what makes a game fun to play.
There are too many things that happen that are out of the player’s control, and that seriously detracts from the enjoyment of playing MLB.
Perfectly executed pitches either miss the strike zone or float right down the middle regardless of the pitcher’s control and bb/9 attributes, outfielders make way too many errors that you cannot prevent from happening, and contact outcomes are all over the place - sometimes balls in the center of the pci are ‘okay’ and other times it’s a perfect, while balls on the fringe of the inner circle may get ‘good’ contact results. Then the actual outcome from those contact results seems even more arbitrary, square ups and goods are outs too often, okays and jam shots too frequently wind up resulting in soft hits.
These frustrating parts of the game even carry over to offline play, which in previous titles used to provide a reprieve from all the online nonsense. There’s no escape anymore, now the game will aggravate you no matter what mode you choose.
For those of us who have bought MLB the Show every year for the ps3 and ps4, I cannot imagine how you aren’t disappointed in what it has become.

The legendary sinkerballer Mariano Rivera is the obvious choice. His sinker was so good that it became the only pitch he ever threw. When you think of Mariano Rivera you think of the sinker.
-
Either way I’m sure he will throw a nice sinker.

So I klubered a couple of games in the event and hit a kluber off of his kluber and the guy disklubered so I got the W. Second game my outfielder klubered a routine fly ball so that was frustrating but then his kluber hung a cutter and I klubered it. A fun session of klubering.

Online play has been disappointing for the past three years. Not sure how that can be debated

Well that’s baseball, sometime you hit the ball on the nose for a lazy fly out, and sometimes your very existence gets nullified by unknown powers and you take the L

A two hopper that travels straight into the shortstop’s glove, often occurs immediately after hitting one out single.

Nobody has fun. Nobody enjoys lining out when the game says PERFECT. Nobody enjoys fooling the hitter and giving up a home run. Nobody likes pressing R2 but they have to or else they get quick pitched. Nobody really enjoys playing your game, but the prospect of acquiring cool new super improved better player cards keeps us coming around. It’s quite similar to the life we are all trying to take a break from.

Alec Bohm and Nick Madrigal most likely

Thanks for the tip, I have one for you as well.

As others have said before you have to commit to hitting the fastball. The worst thing to be is behind on the fastball and early on the off speed. So pick one before the pitch. Play some offline games on legend or hof and just sit fastball. With practice you’ll be hitting good/good line outs before you know it

Online plays almost exactly like last year, games are always close even though one guy is hitting perfects all day while the other guy is popping up and striking out. Why do they think this is fun?
