I remember when this forum was asking for stat grinds and now that they have added them it's a ridiculous concept.
Maybe the issue is this community has no idea what it actually wants cause it flips flops on everything

The Good
- gameplay
The Bad
- servers
The Ugly
- randy johnson
Good - game play, I’ve noticed a ton of hit variety. Singles and doubles in the gap a lot more often.
The bad - servers, what a joke and it’s gonna be worse on April 4th when Xbox gamepass goes live.
The ugly - the sh*tty XP amounts. I’ve completed the USA conquest, played non stop , done some moments and I’m at 75K XP.
You get 500 measly XP for the player missions and moments for the program tab. Only 15K XP for showdown? That should be 25K minimum and reputable up to 3x
We need a double XP weekend ASAP!!
The game isn't out yet and your asking for a double xp weekend asap??? What are you expecting the game to be handed to you?
The program is 37 days long the next program isn't till May, let's say they do a double xp weekend next weekend and you blow through the program are you going to come on here and say there is nothing to do?
Chill out
@chow88_mlbts said in Favorite cards so far?:
I know the launch has had a ton of issues, what is everyone's favorite cards so far?
Mine are:
Gold Mariano Riveria - pretty lights out for me, love the cutter
Diamond Aaron Judge - I'm not NMS, but he has been my best hitter so far, packed him with pre order bonus
Kirk Gibson - got lucky with packs and hit most of the dodgers diamonds, he's great, decent speed, great splits and good power
Most disappointing
Jacob deGrom- probably user fault, but Ive been getting lit up with him in events
Who has your best players been, 2 days in?
The Goat card is back Gold Jim Edmonds still rakes for me has since MLB 18
New FoFT program updates
Week 2 mission - team build pxp
4000 xp each
6 missions build teams from each division
Collection for 15k for Nationals city connect jersey
NL showdown
New Nationals city connect programs
85 overall Breakout Rendon player item included in reward path
New event, city connect teams including Washington
Event runs till Monday so 4 day event
Player rewards at 10 and 15 wins
New packs
It'd an awesome day so much content coming to play feels almost like day 1 again
Super excited for it and to see them finally release future stars as the complimentary cards to a TA season and not the main focuses is a Huge win.
Enjoy the day and weekend all and let's get our grind on
Speaking as someone who has a partnership with a company to promote a product I can tell you that the only real "rule" is to not publicly speak about tye company in a poor manner, if I have an issue with something I have a direct line I can call and discuss the issue.
Applying that understanding to this situation the likely hood is that "rule" would all to Thuney who made a poor choice to air his issue in an open public forum. He could have been more nuanced and tactful in how he did it to say hey I have issues and concerns and I have voiced them direct to SDS and left it at that.
We are in an age where creators are getting more and more affiliations and collaborations with companies but are not fully understand that once you do that there are reasonable limits to what is acceptable from one side and not acceptable from the other.
Bottom line is he made statements as a partner to a company and they didn't like how he went about it so they cut ties. That's how it works, if they banned him from playing the game that would be considered excessive but cutting ties for thr working relationship is reasonable in its context
@X-FREEZE-OFF-X_PSN said in Ok. I'm confused.:
Reading through some posts and I see some people say hitting is to easy (nothing but home runs) and I see some people say hitting is to hard (tons of hits dying on the warning track).
So, which one is correct?
Depends if the OP won or lost
Won = to easy
Lost = to hard
When I get in a slump I do a team build that way I relax a little cause I go in I know I'm likely to lose so I just play loose get some rhythm back
@ballneverlie_XBL said in Wow that’s a lot needed for the missions:
Yeah, I enjoy grinding but that is too much for mediocre cards at this point of the game. These missions seem like they would be more appropriate for day 1 release. Maybe if they had repeatable PXP missions and a pitcher was available it wouldn't be as bad. Oh well. Happy early Fathers Day!
Tell me you didn't play MLB 18 without telling me you didn't play MLB the show 18
Here are some ideas I think that could help Season 3 thrive
USA conquest map refresh with new rewards and new packs (old set one choice packs would be great)
VS CPU program, this was in 17 and was great make it that you have to beat each mlb team on All Star. Make it one reward overall should be a 99 but more likely a 97, no set restrictions of course
Mini season core 85-89 make it just our classic style diamonds and add a booster pack with some more core cards but this time like 10 cards keep the 15 win repeatable mission so that there are more qays to get Core series besides BR
Real events where line up requires some working and use of players not normally used. Stop allowing the best cards to always be eligible.
Add the old WS and BR rewards packs as no sell rewards in the 25k spin at the end of Season 3 xp path. If they are no sell in the program fine but give it a random change to be acquired.
These are just some examples
In others news water is wet
Extreme = Core
There is no other equation that checks out

Let's look at the whole story here.
Yes inning bosses are gone but so are inning programs which lead to actual featured programs so it changes, next program is 2 of 5 legends.
Yes TA is gone but now everything you do go towards the programs so you are working towards 1 centralized goal.
Yes you don't get all 30 rewards but this will balance and reward those who are smart and obtain stubs to get all 30 rewards and those who like to flip and play the market this program is a dream.
How’s that boot taste?
I don't get the reference
You lick sds boots. Like you're a boot licker. That's what he meant.
Got it, I mean sure I guess I didn't realize embracing a change an seeing how it can be a positive ultimately makes me a kiss A$$ but sure. I am already seeing alot of tears over these changes guess all those "do this on day one" YouTube videos are shoot and we'll all have to put our big boy pants on and figure things out on our own
@soonermagic78_xbl said in Content creators spending 2000000 stubs:
Just came across 2 videos of creators spending all that for collection rewards and promoting ps5 when no one can get one. This is sick. Preying on the weak.
First off the creators are a business so they are buying 2 million in stubs but they write it off on their taxes as business expense. They are more concerned with views then if someone buys stubs. Though not a fan of the creators they are doing nothing wrong and it's a business
@beanball0571_PSN said in SDS let’s talk baseball:
Let’s talk the insane fact that homeruns are truly the only way to score in the game every year. In IRL 40 percent of all runs in game come via the homerun, meaning 60 percent is from sac fly’s, force outs, or hits. So why when the game released , could we score in multiple ways, like in actual baseball? What made you go back to the homerun derby, we have been experiencing since 2017?
Well to start in real life MLB teams don't have a fantasy lines up of the greatest players in the history of the game in their lines up who can track down most baseball not hit over the fence.
@TripleH-4481_PSN said in Who was in the meeting when season 4 was discussed.:
You know it’s bad when some of the biggest supporters are sounding like those of us that unfortunately saw this trend coming months ago. That is not a knock on anybody as we all just love baseball and want a game to be at its best.
I put my self in this list, I have defended or found the positive in most of the content but this season and the snap shot series broke me
I realize it's fake cards but man I play to build teams of players wearing their jerseys and logos and this just feels like a slap in the face. Maybe I am getting old and this is another sign I'm out of touch with what the younger crowd wants but if it is we are in trouble.
Add to that I just felt that stream was beyond disrespectful the way they hinted at stuff especially when talking about the 98 home run race stuff talking like we don't know who Mark McGuire or Sammy Sosa is. This was something I found super condescending normally something I can ignore but in this case it added to my frustration.
This game still has potential to be good and enjoyable but the adults in the room need to step up and have some hard conversations on changes that need to be made and quit with this GQ magazine garbage
Why do I think this community gets off more trying to find ways to game the system then actually playing the game
Wow oh wow such an original post you good man have unlock the key to this game.
City connect programs - complete it to collect the 7 jerseys for 15k xp
West conquest map - 30k xp for completing
Packs update for HL and chase packs

@cdnmoneymaker93_mlbts said in No Point in Playing Ranked Seasons:
I mean 400 innings is 43 games roughly which unless you went 40 and 0 you would likely have had to play close to 50 games per season to hit the win totals last year.
This right here makes sense, except if you get a lot of quits from your opponent. Say you get 6 quits (20%) on your 30-wins run at 3 innings, that's 36 innings/4 games saved potentially.
I still say the incentive to keep people from quitting or freezing is greater than the rewards anyway.
I think the biggest factor for me is I can play relaxed and know i am progressing forward, love a tight well played game against an opponent, no big deal got my innings and played in a competitive match. Which is the reason we want to play online right.
Also the innings is a big W for doing team builds later in the year cause again still progressing win or lose
