So I can play on HOF button only and everyone is fine. But if i play veteran analog zone that is a problem.
You guys want to be special at something so bad it’s actually sort of sad to me
The only that looks sad is you who is complaining that others are better than you at this video game, yes video game. Video games have standings you know and all those who are at the top pages of the standings deserve to be there based on their skill. You know what skill is? You're literally trying to champion a method that would equalize all achievements and have people on the same level just because you can't hack it. There's nothing unfair about making ppl ranked 700+ play on the same difficulty (HOF) to achieve WS. What would be unfair is a bunch of people crawling their way to WS hitting bombs off bots with the PCI the size of Titanic on veteran difficulty. There's nothing elitist about that. No one in this entire thread is saying they're the best in the world yet you're taking offense to ppl not wanting to play bots to reach WS.
Ok...you need to read more. I have a suggestion not a complaint. Sorry i don’t view gaming as a major achievement that needs to be made pure. Also “skill” in this game is as much about internet connection, game monitor and cards you own
. If you are so skilled go take a team of commons playing on a 70 inch TV with wireless internet with a modem on the other side of your house and see how your skill gets you to WS.
I honestly don’t care how a dude gets to WS. I just hate playing a ranked game in a format I don’t care for. I also don’t think YOU need to play ina format you don’t care for.
I made WS the first season of my first time ever playing DD in 17 on a 55 inch TV screen with no game mode. I was using fish eye as my hitting view. I did that using all those conquest cards you used to get.
Monitor, good connection, and good cards help but it doesn’t make a trash can into a good player.
Some of you all just can’t accept the fact that there are others better than you at this game.
No doubt you must be good and if you stink you won’t make WS on any level. But if we are being honest 17 was a better game. And you would’ve done better if you had a monitor, wired internet and played with all diamonds to deny that is just silly
I see you're willing to die on this hill so I won't try to change your opinion. But just know if you want something casual you can create a custom league with your casual friends for a casual trophy and everyone wins. You aren't forced at gunpoint to play ranked, you know "ranked" games as in facing increasingly stiffer competition/difficulty to climb said "ranks."
I am all for facing better competition. THAT should be the difficulty difference. I am all for changing my mind if there is a good argument. Like for instances you argument about me creating my own league. Well that works in reverse as I have already wrecked Skepple with it. For those who want to consider themselves special make custom league on the highest difficulty. The greater majority can then play at whatever level desired. To be honest you could take this further with match making also taking zone vs analog hitting
Here's the thing with that argument. I'd like to consider myself as an above average player. In allstar difficulty or hall of fame i have a decent chance of beating the best of the best while on something like legend I have no chance at all. The lower difficulties makes it so that it is much easier for anyone to hit and with how much RNG this game can get (Lineouts, errors, etc) it makes it much easier for a lesser player to capitalize and beat a better player. In addition, the point of ranked seasons is that it is THE COMPETITIVE game mode of MLB The Show. If you want to "have fun your way" play events, franchise or RTTS; if you want to get the best cards play the game and/or work the market. Just let the competitive players enjoy the fun and challenge that comes with ranked seasons and the higher difficulties.
