When did anyone determine what it is supposed to be. The best will still be the best and go high. Weak players are weak and will not. By making the different difficulty yield different points. The best player who can enjoy and be successful at highest difficulties will get. WS quickly. However players like me who are decent and could play at the higher level but get NO enjoyment from the game at certain.l levels don’t have to torture themselves.
Um anyone can hit the ball on veteran.. there are no weak players on veteran. When did anyone determine what playing at the highest level of the game is supposed to be? You're not serious with this..
So if you played the best player in this game on veteran would you win or lose. If you played the game against the worst player on veteran would you win or lose?
What player would you play against where to difficulty level would determine who wins or loses. The only difference imo is the score. Yes on Vet you may have a 10-7 win vs other levels 4-3
If I played the best player in the world on veteran the first inning would take about 5 days to complete
So then you would choose to play on a different level. See how that works.
So.. what I've gathered is, to make it to the highest level of the game, you should be able to play low level opponents on a very low difficulty. Got it.
Yes over a very long time. I am not saying the wins should count equally. As I said the difficulty levels should have varying pts given. The seasons don’t last forever. So a veteran player may run out of time. Whereas a legend player can get there relatively easily. Players in the middle will be in the middle but ALL will need to win.
Not sure why a guy who love HOF level and gets to WS easy would care what or how others get there. Play your game how you want it

I agree 100%. There's been times I've looked for this and wondered why I can't find it. I liked when we could look at the profile of other players. I even think it'd be cool if we could display our icons and nameplates on the forum. That would help me decide what opinions to value more than others.

to SDS one of the few things they got right.First of all, "merits" means the opinion would be worthy of praise, so your use of the word refutes what I'm guessing you're trying to say.
Secondly, how is it elitist to want opinions about how cards play on the difficulty level and game modes for which I would be using them? Obviously, if someone says a card rakes but they're only doing offline grinding on veteran that doesn't help me if I'm playing online ranked seasons.

It’s a video game that’s primary goal is to have fun. Why should I be forced to play on HOF to achieve WS because you are not winning enough in life. You are a walking participation trophy. Inclusivity is more fun imo. The game shouldn’t be built for a select few. If you want to show you are the best of the best. Create an online league and be about that life.

What would be unfair is a bunch of people crawling their way to WS hitting bombs off bots with the PCI the size of Titanic on veteran difficulty. There's nothing elitist about that. No one in this entire thread is saying they're the best in the world yet you're taking offense to ppl not wanting to play bots to reach WS.

Hey I hear rookie mode is pretty fun, I hear you can get all your team affinity innings done on that mode as well. Sorry that you can't make it to world series and need it to be on veteran to get there..

Ok...you need to read more. I have a suggestion not a complaint. Sorry i don’t view gaming as a major achievement that needs to be made pure. Also “skill” in this game is as much about internet connection, game monitor and cards you own
. If you are so skilled go take a team of commons playing on a 70 inch TV with wireless internet with a modem on the other side of your house and see how your skill gets you to WS.
I honestly don’t care how a dude gets to WS. I just hate playing a ranked game in a format I don’t care for. I also don’t think YOU need to play ina format you don’t care for.

You know that else they should do?? They should give away flawless BR rewards for winning going 3-1! If you can't go 12-0 you should be able to have the same rewards as everyone else.

Ok...you need to read more. I have a suggestion not a complaint. Sorry i don’t view gaming as a major achievement that needs to be made pure. Also “skill” in this game is as much about internet connection, game monitor and cards you own

I made WS the first season of my first time ever playing DD in 17 on a 55 inch TV screen with no game mode. I was using fish eye as my hitting view. I did that using all those conquest cards you used to get.
Monitor, good connection, and good cards help but it doesn’t make a trash can into a good player.
Some of you all just can’t accept the fact that there are others better than you at this game.
