yes- I pulled Hornsby and Gagne

I went from hitting .191 to hitting .192- I'm 58-165

fielding, base running, hitting, Baseball Stars on Nintendo was better than this and yea I may go back to it just to have fun playing a baseball video game again. if you're new at this I really hope you're not buying stubs thinking a better card is gonna help you, it's not. don't spend extra money on this game it aint worth it, at least with madden you can tell a difference when you go from a 85 running back to a 99. I n this game you go from a 85 center fielder to a 99 center fielder it all feels the same. Card stats don't matte its all user skill and unless you've been playing for several years your user skill is not on par with those that have been around so there's no point investing in dd-idk why I said invest, because you're basically throwing money away being none of this will transfer to next years game.

if you aint cheating you aint trying, cheating has been going on in sports since the inception of sports just sometimes people get caught. had they admitted to it, no worries water under the bridge.

To answer your question- Heck no I'm not jumping to Madden, it's gotten worse every year starting with '17, content used to run until a week before the new title launched, now new content ends in April next year or the year after content will end after the Super Bowl. We didn't even get MUT staples like Position Heroes or Summer Blockbusters. MUT is a sinking ship I jumped off of in '19 and I wish more would do the same. Until EA feels it in their wallet it's only gonna get worse but EA has people like op who year after year keep running to EA with their wallets open and eyes/ears closed, no thanks. DD>>MUT especially for NMS players, this is my first year playing, I can't hit for [censored] but the team I've already put together just playing the game and not working the auction house would easily cost me a few hundred dollars on MUT or at least several days of my life just working the auction house. MUT just isn't fun anymore but hey you do you and have fun with with it.

apparently you are in my boat dude, I use the up and in and a good player crushes it, we suck- hitting is not for noobs in this game which makes me wonder how they're gonna sustain their current business model when new people to the game are turned off so quick and a business does not sustain if you instantly turn off potential new customers.

One of my favorite all time players, my second pull was 98 Eric Gagne but definitely happy about Rogers- 2nd is done.

dang, I'm guessing you're a much better player than myself so that sounds like a hard pass

hitting is impossible for new players- this isn't really fun, I keep trying because I can be pretty ignorant at times. I can pitch great, if I don't give up a home run in the first inning I'm in a pitching duel with my opponent. Hitting is so bad if my opponent scores in the first inning I already know its game over and I bail/quit- my record is 31-215 or close to. If I make it thru the first inning w/o giving up runs I know I'm in for a pitching duel and know its gonna be a game of "who gets lucky first" this is not fun though it could be.

Did you read the article he posted. How many hundreds of players have been involved in sign stealing schemes? Do you suspend or fine every single player on the team? It starts and end with team management and they were taken care of. Players generally listen to coaches.

dude its all subjective. that is one thing that is kind of cool about this game is one player may play great for one person and play like a [censored] for another. you've just got to work the market and test players out, buy 'em low and sell 'em high so at minimum you don't lose stubs. I've been playing for less than 2 months and figured that out along with conquest, smh lol- people been playing years still haven't figured that one out. I'm the farthest thing from a "show know it all" but I do know for best results experiment- my 91 ty Cobb still best hitter on my team, I can't hit with 99 buster posey but I can touch base consistently with 97 Jason Kendall, you just need to find who feels right for you.

I won’t try to argue with anyone that wants to crucify the 1951 Giants. Just because I am a Giants fan doesn’t mean I have some belief that they are perfect or above another franchise. My point is if you cheat and get caught you are going to be open for criticism and to say well other people or teams have done it too so get over it is a really weak argument. I don’t really care that they cheated because many forms of cheating have gone on some punished others not but you get popped then people are going to criticize.

I guess it really just come down to what Jesus once said and I'm paraphrasing " he who is without sin cast the first stone"

The word cheating is a tricky word to use in baseball in general. There is such a fine line between what would be considered “strategy” and “cheating”. And I think like most things we would each place that line in different spots. As a player I picked the other teams signs from the bases from CF and from the dugout. Was I cheating? I didn’t and still don’t think so but I wouldn’t argue if someone felt I was.

shake it off, move on and try to be better next time if there is a next time- only you and God truly know the truth of you.
