So my sponsorship money is up over $25m already through 30 games. Stole 26 bases tonight for a nice $2.34m from 1 game.
At this rate, I'm guessing my team will have a lot of money to play with in the off season?

@fubar2k7
Team Revenue- $223.3m
Revenue Sharing- $18.1m
Player salaries- $195.0m
Staff salaries- $13.1m
Competitive balance tax - $0
2021 Threshold- $216m
Projected yearly deficit: $-2.88m
Available budget:
$2.12m
@fubar2k7 But it's not increasing it at the rate of what I'm earning from the sponsorship.
For example: I just stole 15 stolen bases last game. Which is equivalent to $1.35-million ($90k x 15). But my team revenue only increased from 223.1M to 223.3M. That's only $200k.
And when I go into Sponsorships, I've now earned $20M, which is up $1.35M from last game. So the Sponsorship is earning the money, but it's not applying nearly that amount to my Team Budget, or anywhere else.
I don't get it.
So I have been trying to grow my budget in MLB The Show 21 with sponsorships. I built my team around speed and utilize the diamond sponsorship for stealing bases, which nets me $30k each x3 = $90k per stolen base. And I try to steal bases all game long.
Last game I stole 12 bases which should've netted me just over $1-million in sponsorship money, but my team budget and projected yearly deficit didn't change from before the game. I checked in the sponsorships area and it is adding up every stolen base, but it's not applying it to my budget.
Any ideas why? Is there a cap or something?
Thanks,
