@MetalDoc17 they are doing the same as EA with FIFA. Same basic game every year, few changes that inevitably break the gameplay. Inflated price. You are actually paying top price for a game that is actually just a patch added to the previous game . But as long as folk buy, it will always happen.

Well maintenance ended, still broke. Nothings changed.

The game is a brick at the minute. Totally broke.

I got the game at launch and didn't even realize it but for the first month I had been playing the XBOX One Version...for some reason my Series X grabbed that one. I switched over to the Series X version when I realized it and have always felt the game was very glitchy (not smooth)...framerate seems to be all over the place and seems to be worst when trying to line up the PCI online.

My son has a PS5 and the PS5 version...whenever I go into his room to do something for him it seems like a completely different game. Sometimes because of his schedule he will ask me to do his daily moment and stuff like that and it just plays so much better and hitting is so much easier. The other night he wanted to try out some of my cards (on Series X) that I have that he doesn't have yet. He just kept saying "Dad, something is wrong...this isn't right. That ball would go out of the yard on PS5... Pinpoint shouldn't be this hard....that shouldn't happen..." He kept playing and I went to bed. The next morning he said, "I need to try and find a way to get you a PS5, because that isn't fair."

So...I started messing with settings and really didn't have much luck. Eventually I turned off 4k on my Series X, but it only helped a little. Then I tried the Xbox One version...it was about the same. The best combo I have tried so far is the XBOX One version with 4K disabled. It was noticeably better as even things like moving through the marked was smoother. This morning I also switched to pure analog hitting from zone when playing online, because it just still seems completely out of wack when trying to lineup the PCI.

I guess I am just curious if Series X users are having the same issues and if you have found other solutions. It just seems crazy that I would have to play the XBOX One version and turn off 4k to even get to somewhat of a starting point.

Been playing on series x since game launch, never had a problem.

Same here, use two batting gloves, sun glasses, and they aren't there when the player comes into bat after a couple of games.

Not had freezing, just game going to a black screen and having to shut game down.

No, I'm on Xbox and game screen gone blank during games 3 times, had to restart everytime. Had to restart Xbox once has it shut down when game screen went blank. It ain't good.

It's either xbox series x issue or mlb and the reason why is the update I believe. So when I got on after work I clicked on game and said needs update 1st so I updated and couldn't get on even after powering off the Xbox on n off over 10 times so i went online to check out what the update was even about and that's where I found it I believe. So mlb says the update for xbox is version 1.45 but when I go on my xbox under MANAGE IN MLB it says it's version 1.0.0.42 wtf, so I powered it down again couple of times to see if it would correct but it hasn't and there isn't a upload I checked and it says it's up to date with the latest version so I bet that's why I can't log in so who's the the DBAG on this mlb or xbox????

I didn't have a problem with the game after the update, I did the update in game on series x.

My complaint wasn't about them starting early with the maintenance, it was they do maintenance every time in the middle of the here and before they do the maintenance, servers also don't work

4am Pt in UK is 11am, and it went down at 11am or just a bit before . So it was as said. But I agree it is always geared around USA, but SDS is in USA so its to be expected really.

Yes but Europe is not only UK. Where I live, 4am is 1pm... believe me

Well it went down at 11 which is when it said it was going down, so you've got your times wrong somewhere. Which country are you in.

4am is 11 uk not 1.

I change view all the time. But mainly use strike zone 1,2 or 3.

Love the game , the new gen extra pop to rendering and graphics is stunning. But I can't play this game version for the X-BOX SERIES X , my game plays for a few innings then just freezes almost like clock work this will cause my X-BOX to then a few minutes later after closing out to restart, no other game does this so I'm confused on what to try next. I play on series x never had a problem with freezing or crashing, I have it on download not disc. Strange.

Some of them are so far off the player they are supposed to be. NBA2K does a great job with player faces. Terrible job with the crowd. MLB does a great job with the crowd and an abysmal job with player faces. Seriously some of them look like they were hit with a brick and left for dead.

Check if he is on your team or subs in this app. If he is put him your starting lineup, then he should show up in the game.

Take a look at your team on this app. If he's there put him in your starting lineup then he should appear in the game. Worked for me with the two players I bought.
