Edit to add... I feel like this year more than ever, a week into the game I see the same players almost every single game. I expect that as the game progresses but not already.
I just want the pause timer to be a real countdown, not one that restarts haha.
Yep, co-op has fallen apart again. We had three freezes in a row last night.

I have to agree with this. I have forever used metered pitching and this year I am throwing batting practice. Any slight miss is a meatball. I gave up a 505ft HR the other night haha

@AstrosJake because they are worried that once you finish the content you will stop playing their game everyday. Same reason why xp is capped so low. They want players to log on every day, it's called maximum player engagement. These companies believe that the more a player is on the game, the more likely they are to spend real money.
It's doing the exact opposite for me. I used to log on every single day, play some conquest, then a handful of ranked and / or events. I only have a few hours each night but I would use all of that time on The Show. Now I reluctantly hop on, play a game or two and call it a night.
Jeter literally averaged 21 steals per season. There were only 20 guys in all of baseball last year with 21 steals or more. If you want to be mad about fake cards and fake attributes, direct it towards the Future Star cards.

Derek Jeter was a shortstop for the New York Yankees baseball team. He wasn't Batman nor any other superhero for that matter.
He was a light hitting defensive shortstop in real life, but will have power and speed in this game for some reason.
I miss sim baseball. This game is turning into Fortnite. It's why they're pushing Japanese anime and this cartoon stuff.
SDS was very specific in their "feature video" that the extreme changes to Diamond Dynasty, releasing all of these end game cards on day one, was because people saw the same lineup every game as last year progressed. We are two weeks in and you face, at minimum, the same 7 guys every game.
This was a horrific idea.
I know it's too late for this season but for the love of god make some sort of salary cap mode in Ranked for next season. Then release all of the cards you want but at least make the lineups a little more challenging to put together.
Literally every other game does it in their "Ultimate Team" mode in one way or another. Sure, in Events there are limited cards you can use but you still get the same lineups. It's such a shame, the gameplay and feel is tremendous this year, but the long term playback of the game this year is just not sustainable like this.
I get your point but whats better than a 99 card? It's not like in mid-June a 99 card is going to be released that is far superior than the 99 I already have at that position. At that point it will just be a matter of what name would I rather see in the lineup and that's not enough to keep me wanting to come back.
I thought the big thing with co-op this year was that if you were playing with 3 and someone quit or disconnected the other two could finish the game. They must have forgotten to flip the switch on that because that's not the case at all.
With all of the same arguments appearing in different threads (and I guilty of some of them), I think if the WBC set of cards didn't exist there would be less complaining. But if you play a Ranked game and see less than 6 WBC cards on your opponents lineup, I'd consider that a rarity. You just get smacked in the face with WBC cards around every corner right now. And the program is here for the entire year so that's not going to change. Just need to accept it, 99 Lindor is here to stay haha.
Turn off cross-play. Make sure everyone you are playing with has cross-play off. Haven't had a freeze up since.
My biggest gripe is that it's not being addressed. Even if you aren't doing anything about it yet, just say "we are aware and looking into it". But I'm sure there are a few more WBC cards on the way to make up for it...
If I am getting smacked online I just start throwing meatballs to get mercy'd so I don't lose the xp haha
I don't understand all of the supposed hate about sets. For the first three seasons you could literally use anyone you wanted and each season took forever. The concept would be better executed in the form of a salary cap so you really had to put some thought into your team. Then I would be cool with justifying 99s from the beginning.
It's not going to move the needle either way of me buying the game but I was really hoping to see something about co-op being implemented more. Maybe on the 14th?
