Okay so picking your stadium is kind of a weird thing you got to make sure that you're on your team slot I guess is what you would call it and then hit A on your current stadium and then it'll give you the list of all the stadiums and yes you can use custom stadiums

It's how I got through a LOT of my diamond dynasty challenges and moments

Yes I know it's right down the middle but yet they either swing and miss or pop it up every time. I'm playing on diamond dynasty and March to October not online. Online I'm assuming the user opponent being played by an actual player they would not let that [censored] slide but being that it's a computer it works. Not sure why maybe a glitch but it works

Here's a fun little fact hack for y'all, I've tested this and it seems to work every single time I haven't had an issue yet. When you're pitching, there's a little kind of hack you can do to either get a strikeout or a pop-up every. Single. Time.

So what you doing is you choose classic pitching which is where you select a button for your pitch, once you select your pitch, hold the L trigger as if you were going to pick off a base but you're going to pick off home plate so you hold the L trigger and hit the A button or, for your PlayStation users out there, the X button. Simple as that. Doesn't matter what pitch you pick, it will work.

I'm glad to hear the people are still hitting big with the diamonds hell yeah. But, is no one else having audio issues? I'm playing on the Xbox series S and sometimes I get audio issues. I figured out how to fix the lag issues and make contact with the ball at least every time or every other time at bat. My method is, when I'm at bat, I push the Xbox button on the controller quickly refresh the home, then click back on MLB The show and when I get back to the game it seems that my lag issues are fixed for the time being I usually have to do this about 3 or 4 times a game but imo it's worth it. Otherwise it's so laggy sometimes, even offline, that I just cannot make good contact with the ball and I fly out ground out what have you. Can't believe I spent $300 on this machine and it's still lags out the simplest of games. But on a plus note for the series s, my Kerbal space program is never looked more beautiful! Granted I know it would look better on PC because you can download mods, but I'll take what I can get.

UPDATE

So after posting this a couple days ago, I conveniently got a diamond. Granted it was a live series Tim Anderson and I already had him so I just sold it but the fact of the matter is I got a diamond and it's been seriously like 2 weeks since I pulled one and then I go and make this post and then I get one. Coincidence? Maybe, but more than likely just luck of the draw. Good luck to all y'all out there let's pull them diamonds and hit some dingers.

I'd say it's been about a good week maybe two weeks since I have pulled a diamond card from any kind of pack besides you know obviously the diamond packs that are in the programs but I mean from show packs or balling as a half a pack or any pack I have not pulled a diamond in like 2 weeks! Let me rephrase that kind of I haven't pulled a diamond ball player, I pulled diamond equipment but mainly anything that is diamond is usually a stupid uniform or maybe like a cleat.

Also having this problem wondering if anybody else is experiencing the same glitch every time I try to contact San Diego studios, I get nothing in reply. I seriously filled out a ticket about receiving my cards and benefits or what have you for purchasing the $100 version of the Xbox x\s. Yet here I said still without cards or my stubs.

And lastly then I'll stop asking questions I'm just kind of curious if this is happening to anybody else so that's why I'm asking these things but lastly is anybody else's audio kind of missing lately like I can almost go a whole game and the announcers don't say a word. Which sometimes isn't a big deal you know considering that everybody that steps up to the plate has really turned into a beast this year almost all players this year are children of former MLB players. But in the last 48 hours I haven't even heard those stories.... It's like a ghost town in the booth..

To all you cheaters out there who are flooding the market with cards or keeping them for yourselves stop [censored] cheating you're making it impossible for anybody else to collect the Griffey collections because every single card now is over $300,000 or more and it's kind of tough to finish the collection when games only give out like $2,000. Worthless [censored] punks it's a baseball game, you really got to cheat!?

You know it'd be real nice if you [censored] cheaters would stop cheating and flooding the market because you're making it impossible for others to complete the Griffey collections. Every single card almost is over $300,000, kind of [censored] especially when games only give you maybe $2,000. It's a baseball game like do you really have to cheat!?

I agree it can be challenging, but I'm going to try to give a constructive reply.

The thing with the A.I. is, the first few pitches of an at bat, and of the game, dictate what the pitch mix is going to be going forward. If you chase one out of the zone early, you can expect to be a marked man and delivered a majority of balls the rest of the way, and, this is important, on any REPEAT tries for that moment, and every consecutive at bat going forward. This is why if you quit out and comeback later, you almost always have an easier time than you did when the CPU gave you everything in the dirt.

Also, certain pitchers are "junk ball" pitchers, at least as far as the game is coded, and some are low ball pitchers, some high, some have flat fastballs, and some break down, etc.

Anyway, if you chase early or at all, expect a sh^t show and quit out if it gets really bad and is trying you patience, and try to see what that particular pitcher is throwing that is causing you to chase.

I'm mediocre at the game, but have finished every moment, and though some are harder than others, I have a very good grasp on what the A.I. is trying to do. I hope this helps and don't get too discouraged!

This is the single most informative answer and actually encouraging answer that I've ever read or gotten on any thread yes I agree I b**** a lot but it's just so frustrating sometimes and here I didn't know that the AI was THAT good in this game and I also didn't know if you repeat and try again that it just gets consecutively tougher so thank you, thank you very much for being not too constructive and very knowledgeable. I have to say, your tips did help a s*** ton so thank you man.

Umm... Yeah you can adjust them if you're playing road to the show, but in daily moments and every other moment in the game and in dynasty and every other play mode in the game, you cannot adjust the sliders but I do agree, default settings are horrendous. And again I stick to my guns saying it's hard to do moments and finish programs when all you get thrown is balls and walked.. it's kind of f****** b******* to be honest

Well I see with the latest update and the new batch of moments, that SDS is trolling us yet again with all the balls... Sounds a little perverted, yeah, I know, but when there's no strikes and only balls being thrown and most of the moments are to hit home runs and you can't, yeah that's a troll. And SDS lives under that good ol' bridge, trolling us all. LOL I'm glad that the world series is over because I am so done with this f****** game. First year playing the show, SDS left such a great first impression, that it'll be my last year playing the show. Looks like I'm headed back to Kerbin, or maybe Eeloo... Hell, even Red Dead redemption 2 looks pretty [censored] good right now

Used one for my collection sold the other but here's the catch, ever since I've unlocked chipper Jones, I have not got a single diamond player card in any pack whatsoever and I've opened quite a few actually have opened a s*** ton and not a single diamond player. I've got diamond sponsorships, I've got diamond equipment rare but it's happened, but no joke I haven't got a single diamond player since I unlock chipper and I still have more diamond cards to get so I can get Kershaw. Lucky, I don't know about that, but maybe I am,considering that since I last replied on this thread I got another Diaz in a regular show pack. So yeah, it's possible to pull him from packs and like someone else said, if you would put your order in you'd have him by now but I didn't have to order him cuz I guess I got lucky....twice

This really has nothing that pertains to anything important I was just wondering if anybody else felt this way, I just want to know why is it when you do a showdown, the pitcher comes out and makes these like sideshow freak show faces and they zoom in on his face and it looks even more horrible. Like, do these gentlemen really make these sideshow mugs in real life? I just feel they look Goofy and 90% of the time they look like, how do I put this nicely, um, "special"

Has anybody been receiving any scouting report packs? I received one this entire time and I signed up for the report back when the game came out pretty much. Been waiting to get that bat skin but no such luck. I believe the only thing I got from The scouting report was a name plate whooopty doooo lol

Just don't worry about it, keep playing the game, opening your packs, and just having fun. I pulled my Diaz from just a regular show pack and finished my entire collection about a week ago. Trust me, you can finish the entire collection. It wouldn't be a challenge if they just gave it to you, which they pretty much did by letting us purchase players from the marketplace in the first place. The more you don't worry about it the faster it'll come and trust me you want that chipper Jones he is a BAMF
