Stuff like this is just crazy to me. Video games are video games, they’re meant to be played for fun. Sure we all get aggravated with them and want to win but at the end of the day, it’s a video game. The fact that individuals go to this length to win a video game? What’s the point? These people probably have tons of time on their hands and/or live very lonely lives.

Your statement is a contradiction of the point your trying to make, very child like.

This is actually pretty comical but typical in today’s society. A person is entitled to their opinion but as soon as they have something to say that others don’t agree with then woah, watch out. People should be able to voice their opinions, concerns, issues with problems they have. In fact I think in might actually go the other way. If we did in fact hear back from the developers with explanations on our issues, topics, concerns, etc, maybe people would be less likely to criticize certain aspects of this game. Sometimes when your given an answer or feedback, even though things may not have been changed, it can still bring clarity to a situation.

A fair amount of things in this game, regarding the gameplay.

How about the actual gameplay of the game? Anything?

Same crappy gameplay. I took time off myself and came back. I’ve noticed that I care less and less about playing the Show. Gameplay is just lacking in so many areas that the game becomes frustrating to play. The programs while better, still do not make up for the lack of consistency in the game. Same old players just modified with higher ratings. Although I will say the Gwynn card is a nice addition and will garner my attention to get it.

He def deserves a 99 card. Its nice to see them actually get one right with these releases.

This is just a microcosm of this entire game. How SDS spends no time really updating gameplay, etc. Meanwhile we’ve just received the 4th/5th versions of players in the latest release for Diamond Dynasty, Whoopie

The hitting on this game is one area the game is lacking big time in. Since I’ve started playing I’ve noticed that there are two types of contact, either very hard or soft, nothing in between. Furthermore when you play online, I’ve noticed different types of lag, etc. between different game modes. I agree with all of what you mentioned though in your posts.

How about a Joe Carter card, Devon White

I’ve played NCAA. Graphics, Gameplay and the Stadium Atmospheres are very good. I think what’s lacking is the game modes and that sort of stuff. I’m not really about all the extra stuff so just the gameplay itself is what I focus on, overall, very good.

Agree with you on the hitting, timing feels different to me each time I play. Also agree, sometimes it feels like I’m swinging through water, quicksand.

Quite frankly the game is just getting boring. Diamond Dynasty is the same players just on different cards, different ratings. The gameplay is not good to say the least. I’ve already played NCAA and the Show won’t hold me past Friday. Huge baseball fan and just very disappointed overall with this years game.

I agree with you completely on this. I went back today and just played a regular online game. It played differently than diamond dynasty.

My online games have been off and on. Sometimes lag, then it’s fine

Aren’t they adding the future all star cards?

1. Field plays like concrete
2. Hit buttons to make a play, no response or in correct response.
3. Throw ball in from outfield and have cutoff man way out of position.
4. Ground balls up the middle never get by the pitcher.
5. More good contact from late swings than good swings.
6. Delay in game speed online and also during regular game modes.
7. Throw the ball perfectly as the pitcher and pitch doesn’t not locate where it’s shown on the screen.
8. Infielders make plays mid way into the infield constantly to record fly ball outs.
9. Infielders/Outfielders super delayed reactions to the ball.

This is just a few of the issues I’ve seen with this game. They call it a simulation and it plays like an arcade style game if you ask me. We are trapped by SDS. If you are a baseball fan and like video games you have 2 choices. Buy this or don’t play a baseball video game. SDS is too busy putting out the same cards in diamond dynasty mode in different form. Whooptie doo.
