Anyone know how to get the other public address announcers? I'm still stuck with Alex Miniak, I'd like to hear the O's Adrienne Roberson or Renel-Brooks Moon.

DO. NOT. PANIC. If you have a MLB The Show account, all of your progress will be there. Just link your console that you play the game on and your golden. I've unlinked and relinked as a test several times. THIS WORKS. (Only for Show 24 players though as when the glitch went out, my Show 23 team was wiped even with it linked, but who even plays that anymore?)

I can confirm this works. I about had a heart attack when my DD progress was reset but relinking brings everything back. Only thing lost was my last full game.

With all the nightmare posts flying around about linking XBoxes and Switches to Playstations, I was worried that I wasn't going to be able to do it. 9. I then quit the game and went back into it and everything was perfect.
10. I logged out of my The Show account and logged into my PS account and checked the marketplace and inventory on the web and everything was perfect.
11. I logged into the game on my PS5 to verify and everything is perfect.

It all works just as they said it would. Also, the error I was getting when logging into my Nintendo account (before tonight) on theshow.com now redirects me to the screen showing my accounts and which ones are linked.

Do DD squads combine? If they do, my teams will be scary!

Nothing combines. Your main account is what is played after they are linked (whichever main account you choose).

Ah I see. So Diamond Dynasty inventories don't mix correct?

Probably not. I’m guessing they weren’t recorded at all.

Shame. It's not a deal-breaker but the immersion is hurt a little.

Absolutely agree.

There was a player lock post-game one. Kind of stands out in amongst the silence which breaks the immersion even more.

And I know this isn’t mode specific but referring to the pitcher as ‘the righty’ or ‘the lefty’ as they are pitching instead of their name sticks out like a sore thumb. Better to have nothing.

I mean they name-drop the pitcher at the start of an AB so I don't get why they don't mid-AB. It's too small to be a problem though, I barely notice it. Just adjust it next year.

You think that’s bad, “And #24 comes to bat”. That’s right. They don’t have the recording for Ken Griffey Jr. but they made sure to get the recording for Louis Head.

Rookie Griff they don't, but cover athlete Griffey they do. Minor oversight.

Ive been playing more conquest now and I am liking the new commentary more and more.

The only complaint I have is Boog hogs the booth. You hardly hear Singleton talk.

Also, in the fly in , at least in conquest, there is no intro commentary like Matty use to do. Maybe it's there in Franchise.

Haven't tried Franchise but I'll let you know. They also don't acknowledge when you take over a stronghold in Conquest. Hell I had a 10-inning game in Conquest, and Singleton acted like it was a normal 3-inning game. Bit odd but the new commentary is great, just some questionable omissions.

Just curious. I've noticed kind of a lack of mode-specific commentary. For example in Conquest in Diamond Dynasty, when you win a game and take over a stronghold it doesn't get acknowledged. March To October-themed commentary is a little sparse too compared to last year. Strange. Not a complaint mind you as I think they were trying to go more realistic with the game but it's just odd. There's not even a traditional introduction when starting up a Conquest game. You only hear Jon when the screen shows the dugout before the first pitch. Little weird.

Don't you worry, they'll definitely be adding more.
