How are people still cheating with this captains boost. I feel half the people I play are still getting the Cruz boost with Cruz not in the lineup. I know you have to be a trash bag to cheat at video game but I thought this was fixed a while back.

I actually like this new season format. Prior to the seasons format it would take forever for them to release endgame cards. Most times you wouldn't see a really good 99 until late June. last year having 99's day one seemed to get old quickly. I feel like this is a good compromise. I had a great team in season one, but I got tired of facing the same 3 or 4 pitchers every game. Now there is a ton of variety in pitchers faced and I'm playing with cards that I never would have even tried if I still had that God squad team. I know it's not for everyone, but I think it's fun.

I agree that this was a good move. If this was just another ranked seasons reset with new rewards I wouldn’t be that interested because I already felt like I had a team that I couldn’t make much better. Now I’m interested in the game again because I’m trying to rebuild my team.

@YOSHI24 I agree with that but I wonder if the changes to this years seasons will hurt them. Last year season one cards carried into season 2 so Id be buying and trying a ton of cards right now. This year with the longer seasons and no real carry over Im sitting out the next few weeks.

I know the general idea is these season formats are SDS's way of getting people to spend and buy more stubs but I think this years format could hurt that.
I have a good team right now and have a pretty good idea of who I would use for wild cards. I know I won't use Satchel as a wild card, and I have the other two cards so Im not locking in any more collection cards. Anything I get now I'm selling. I have about half a million stubs now and there are cards on the market I'd like to try but I know I wouldn't use any as wild cards so Im staying away. So Im pretty much staying out of the market for the next 3 weeks. I don't spend extra money on the game anyway but Im sure there are people who normally do but are sitting back now because most cards will be somewhat useless in a few weeks. Maybe SDS makes it up when the next season drops but I assume the market will be pretty slow for a few weeks.

@chucky97___ I think that definitely made it worse but foul balls have been bad since launch. User input in general is just worse than last year. I know content had complaints last year but I thought gameplay last year overall was very good.

Foul balls are definitely worse this year than in past years. Seemed like last year was a step forward in making user input matter more and then this year the game reverted back to being a dumpster fire on all star and now even on hall of fame.

I agree with this in relation to fouls balls. I don't think having the switch-hitting captain is necessarily bad but with how ridiculous the foul ball problem is this year, this boost makes it even worse. If they had fixed foul balls this boost would still be used a lot but I don't think it would really negatively impact the game.

I know there is plenty to complain about for people with content, sets, bugs, etc and gameplay certainly isnt perfect but fixing foul balls I think would make a big difference. Right now, even on HOF and Legend the foul ball numbers just seem so much higher than in previous years. Think about how many extra pitches you have to throw per at bat with endless bad swings with PCI placement of 2 or 3 getting fouled off. All these wasted pitches lead to more walks, pitchers running out of energy, bloop hits and eventually home runs. Not saying the game would be perfect with this fix but would definitely make it less frustrating.

Yea I was over 230 and have been using lou brock for a while but now only have 209?

@chucky97___ while I agree with you, you are going to get crushed for this. Over the past few years the forum has turned into pretty much an entitled whine fest. Years ago this was a good place to come for tips and strategies etc. Those days are pretty much gone.

Well it looks like they evened things out. How all consoles are unplayable so at least everyone is in the same boat.

In the Royals inventory there is an 88 Perez. When I go to location its in mission Core Champion. Does anyone know what that means?

In Jeter storylines these throw moments are possible the dumbest thing SDS has done in years. When playing the game I have always known what button Ive wanted to push based on the outcome Im looking for. Ive never really paid too much attention to the letter or symbol on the button. I got through the jum throw one after getting a lucky combination of prompts but just realized now there is a relay throw thats seems even worse. I really want the posada card but not sure its worth it. Anybody know if there is a trick to getting through these?

Im going to miss Foxx the most. He has been my endgame catcher since he came into the game. Im hoping Josh Gibson is a good replacement. I just couldnt miss with that Foxx swing. If they still had CAPs in DD i would have to make a cap catcher with his swing.

That might help to avoid server issues at launch.

Im guessing it will be much worse on Tuesday with full launch.
