I'm talking about top tier/meta pitchers only....it's Ohtani and Vida for me. Not sure what it is about these two but they get knocked all over the yard. It's now to the point where i salivate at the sight of these guys in an opponent's lineup.
Ohtani's delivery is fairly easy to read and once I get Vida's fastball timed everything else is elementary. Too bad I face deGrom in 90% of my games haha
I swear over half my games is against DeGrom and I don't get how that is possible. Everyone has to rest their pitchers but I get the lucky DeGrom pick half the time...At least I am starting to be able to decently hit him. Also, some people just do not know how to pitch him. I had one guy the other night though....He was one step ahead of me the whole game. I could not figure him out. I wish I had recorded so I could just re-watch on how he was using him.

I have 2 kids and a wife going back to school. I have to cook dinners, do home-work with kids, do household chores, and get them ready for bed. I do not enter a game if I know I cant make it through without pausing 20 times. That [censored] is annoying. If your personal life is too much for a game with already waaaaaaayyyyyy too much pause time...then play offline. My life is busy and I am not trying to spend another 5 minutes staring at a screen because you need to go smoke every other batter.

All 3 of them will be close to quicksell so there is no reason not to lick up all of them personally. Gio is interesting though as I've always liked him
I would not recommend licking any of them up
sounds a little too much like Silk- Freak Me

I have had a few close games then they go yard and the ball is barely even touching the pci and I even saw one where the ball wasn't even touching the PCI and yet still went yard. It gets very frustrating...
My favorite is when you play someone who flails all game then all of a sudden for 1 inning they can do no wrong and jack up 3 HR and 5 RBI...then go back to rest of the game not being able to hit the broad side of a barn...
-
I personally stay in because I am a glutton for punishment but why hate on people quitting? Why waste someone's time when you get a free win and can start another game faster? They get to take their L and start another game faster. Even when there was no cumulative wins this happened. It hasn't been worse either. They way I look at it is they are up on my team 8-0 in the 3rd inning, why continue, let them win and proceed to get closer to the WS ranking.

Privacy is not an issue to be mishandled on any level. I am glad it was fixed for you but something that serious deserves more than a silent fix.

I have whooped and been whooped by all 99 diamond teams and I have whooped and been whooped by teams that are struggling to put a full diamond team out. Having a good team helps but having the skill is what is more important.

Randy Myers part of the 300 save club and the Nasty Boys.

As a Reds fan, I second Scott Rolen!

I've been getting a lot of perfect/perfect foul balls lately. I don't understand how a perfect timing hit can ever be foul...but here we are.
-
So just to wrap up from mid thread... 18 was worse than 19 except for one person who says 19 is worse and your facts are wrong even though he admits he only plays DD RS. He invalidates the rest of the game completely because he doesnt play it then thinks he has the facts. 70% of the game does not matter apparently when rating a game!
-
Just as the title states, I've become the king of the perfect/perfect foul ball. About every night I am getting 2 or 3 of these glorious hits.
-
I find the easiest pitchers to hit are those who throw heat but not top heat. So 96-98mph range. Those who throw 102mph can get frustrating because I am either too early or too late but never perfect on the timing. The pitchers who pitch slow (fastball in high 80s to low 90s) I tend to struggle with as well. Only because the change-up is eerily similar to the fastball with them.
That 96-98mph is the sweet spot though. You can tell if it's a change-up or fastball coming pretty easy to get the timing right. The fastball isn't fast enough to make it a constant early/late/early/late type game.

I'm a mid 800 player on last years game and a mid 700 player on this years game so far. I'm not good enough for Legend and that's ok. Not everything is made to cater to me. The idea that everyone should be able to hit Legend is ridiculous. There has to be a challenge, there has to be goals, and just because it's a challenge you can't beat or a goal you will not achieve doesn't mean it needs to be fixed.
-
I've had a similar instance before but I ended up winning to get a message that I was a [censored] for not friendly quitting...Why did you start the game? I'm not trying to restart every 3rd inning because everyone is requesting friendly quits.
-
This is just ridiculous. Everyone who says free means they are not buying the card with stubs..The OP knows this but just wants to argue for the sake of arguing. No one who says its free is saying it's because offline vs online like you are trying to make it out...It's for one reason and one reason only....You don't have to spend stubs to get it.

I hate bunt dancers, but will flash a bunt as a tip of the hat like the guy above stated....but more than bunt dancers, the guys who try to take an extra step lead with a speed burner 20x straight when you show you will throw over or step off everytime are the worst of worst to me.
I play the game to how I play in real life. If someone is taking a huge lead I am going to throw over. Usually most stop after that but every now and then you get one that will just do it over and over and over no matter how many times you step off or throw over. I will spend 20 minutes just throwing over to first. It's super annoying.

Talks about toxic community...goes on and replies to any comment that doesn't exactly agree with him and name calls, calls them toxic, gets super defensive, and just an all around "stand-up" guy.

Sitting for hours flipping the market.
I used to do it in 20 and had well over 6 million. I dont have the time and patience to do it this year. I only have 165k but it's enough to get most things done. I like grinding anyway.
