Man…so many cubs I wont be able to take to season 2 So sad
The intentional walk feature is real fast. You can load em up in like 10 seconds. Recommend doing that so you arent missing out on potential 5 k xp

@ballneverlie it’s listed in the goals tab of the mini season page before you enter your games.
Thank you! Didnt even see that lol

@Healthy-Jew what’s your method for gaining TA progress?
If you’re doing Play vs. CPU it’s going to take much longer than other methods.
Aside from the extreme moments and showdown, which I personally don’t do, building a squad with bosses from one division in Mini Seasons is a great way to knock out repeatable missions. In a matter of a few games you can gain 10, 15, even 20k plus get a voucher every four wins.
But yes I do agree, even done as efficiently as possible, a lot of players not going to have the time to dedicate to it, and some hate grinding against the CPU and will rely solely on the online missions.
I must be late on this but where does it say you get a voucher in mini seasons for every 4 wins? Im been doing conquest for the vouchers. Had no idea there was another way
Just tried to get on and cant connect.

He’s tough but the Kerry Wood on legend is mind numbing. I beat it. With 6 outs left I hit 3 homers and struck out 18 times lol
The slurve was the nastiest thing i ever faced in this game lol. Lost count how many swings and misses i had vs it
Everyone throws sinkers high and low inside. If you can hit those(which I cant) then youre a solid player lol. Has nothing to do with knowing where pitchers are pre-pitch
Im going to be real bummed not being able to use all of my cubbies. This is has been the most fun ive had in years with the cubs players and captain boosts. Oh well…looking forward to seeing how many wc spots we get to start
@dbMonK said in Team affinity 3 predictions?:
@ballneverlie yeah, it will be some rerun guy of the small pool of guards players we have. Probably not a pitcher since Bob was just in legends mini season.
Ahh I feel for you man. Been pretty blessed with cubs players so far. Hope they give you jram, I really do. I just doubt they go that route for money sake
@dbMonK said in Team affinity 3 predictions?:
I’d like the guards to get a good Jose, otherwise he’s gonna be in some mid season diarrhea pack or collection card.
Doubt they make him the team 99. Hes always one of the fan favorites so i can see him being in a major collection or a chase pack

Grinding against the Yetis at the Polo Grounds?Sometimes i miss the old days……
Ticket Counter?
The ticket counter was amazing. You got me reminiscing now haha

They are players who are "good" and abuse the strike zone. They have figured out every pitcher and pitch type and know their timing very well. This game isn't like COD or Fortnite where movement and accuracy are factors but rather timing and precision matter the most. I don't think these players are hacking but they are VERY good at timing and abusing the games mechanics to get the wins. In almost all of those high level games they are double digit runners just seeing who can hit the most homeruns.
In short…so they are elite who have mastered timing of every pitch. I wouldnt say they abuse anything. When I think of abuse in videogames, I think of the 2-3 money plays in madden all the pros use that manipulate the AI on both sides of the ball.
@bostondirtdog21 said in Captains Pack:
I assume Because the pack is still available in the shop, people are moving around the one extra card they had to Obtain Stubs But I could be completely off-base.
That seems right. Flash sales have caused serious chaos haha.
You want a beekeeper card in the game?
@TheCanuckler309 said in What happened to real simulation baseball?:
@ballneverlie it’s not harder to score at that level. Nobody should want sim in a head to head game
Yes it is…did you not read what I messaged earlier?
Smaller PCI, higher fast speeds generally means lower runs. Obviously the great players will score regardless but my opponent and I struggling at that level and doing well at AS tells you just that
It looks like he was solid last year but he wasnt very good when he played last in 2019. I think they go off a 3 year average. If he keeps it up, the boosts will follow
@TheCanuckler309 said in What happened to real simulation baseball?:
@ballneverlie because neither of you could hit on hall of fame it felt more realistic?
Smaller PCI, higher pitch speed so yeah we couldnt hit but it is obviously much harder to score at that level. Do you comprehend that or no?
I would recommend anyone with outlier. Just mentally prepare yourself for your pitcher getting hit hard at the 450+ level
@IrishFist412 said in What happened to real simulation baseball?:
Once you hit 700 it gets alot better. HOF plays much more realistic than AS.
I hit 700 and I agree. I lost 2-1 and havent sniffed 700 since lol but it really did feel like a more realistic game.
