Why would you sell him? There’s not a lot of great pitchers in the game so far

His price isn’t going up- chase packs are not the same as last year. They’re more common this year so the cards aren’t gonna be expensive

I mean I just don’t get it. Every single time I end up in a horrible stadium, which most of the times are MLB pro parks, I know my opponents record is going to be horrible and it is 100% of the time.

I could understand if a person was new to the game, had a 2-7 record and decided to play at Camden Yards. Then I can chalk it up to that person just not knowing any better.

But these dudes that have records of 230-800 should know better. They’ve played the game entirely too much to not know the meta stadiums and to continue picking Minute Maid park and it’s horrible batters eye.

Coors is the pro park you wanna play at if you need to play at a pro park.

I have no clue if it was intentional- if you look on the calendar instead of saying “new ranked season starts 2/2” it says “ranked reset 2/2”

So with that language I kinda do think it’s intentional but for the life of me I can’t see why they would do this lol…

This literally makes me not wanna play ranked. I’ll just play casual games on HOF until 24 comes out

Why is everyone reset to a 198 rating(veteran)?

I was rated a little over 700 to end the season, I don’t wanna go all the way back to veteran. Why not just do the regular reset and send me back to all-star

They'll eventually release a Choice pack that will have all of the Retro Finest FK cards in it.

Or....they might not...because the name of the collection is finders keepers...which kind of implies there will be "losers and weepers."

On another note...if they don't re-release the packs (which they should NOT...given the name of the collection) I think the final reward should be a maxed out, sellable, Jeter captain that gives a +5 boost to every attribute of every card in the game. Now that...would be a reward...and one worthy of the most expensive collection (if they don't re-release the packs). (One can dream anyways)

They'll put a pack in there. They won't let those cards stay inflated.

The collection reward will be a 99 RF Lou Gehrig

It absolutely is. Try subbing him in for the AS version so you can compare the stats between the 2. The AS is equal or higher on all but 2 stats I think. I guess some folks just assume if a card is released later in the game means it is better.

MS Acuna is better than AS Acuna what are you talking about?

MS Acuna is 125/123 contact with 115/115 power vs left and right

AS Acuna is 125/125 contact and 102/115 power

MS Acuna also has higher vision 116 compared to AS Acuna’s 111 vision.

Their speed and fielding is pretty identical

Milestone Acuna has better hitting attributes which makes him better since everything else is pretty much equal

I’m 38. I have no desire to get to WS and play legend or even HoF. My reaction time is pretty bad nowadays so AS is enough for me.

I want to be able to get to 900 but in AS.

I’ve been banging on about this idea.

Make WS in AS and you get I dunno. A pick of 95s

Make WS in HoF and you get a pick of 97s

Make WS in Legend and you can get 99s etc

When I reach 700s. I pretty much stop playing ranked. It’s too hard. You can bang the get good at me. But I want to have fun for my 45 minutes and I enjoy ranked over anything else.

You want to win a WS on all star to get 95s when there are 99s available at launch?

I tried to breach the peace and then trolled you by being a smarta— because to be frank you were a rude a—hole to the guy who gave his opinion then suddenly your opinions mattered more. Those others called you straight out on it but I was bored as I played out my mini season until I wasn’t.

Again he didn’t give his opinion- he stated something as fact and it was wrong

Saying a card is good offline but not good online does not make sense.

Saying “I’m good offline but bad online” makes sense

And then saying it about one of the best cards in the game, if not the best card in the game made even less sense.

He was literally describing “user error”(which I told him) but blaming it on a card being “broken online”

I corrected him.

Yes, everyone has different experiences with any card, for whatever reason... However, it is difficult imagining someone not doing (relatively) well with either of the two 99 Acuna cards (in online h2h).

I would advise using patience. Give a card at least 100 abs in online h2h before banishing it to the bottom of your deck.
