Also, how the hell do you pitch to a person that takes every single ball outside the strike zone?

I am 11-5, my team batting average is .408 and I usually score 10+ runs per game but those 5 losses have come from me giving up 15+ runs and I urgently need some tips on how to pitch better because I genuinely believe if I was somewhat decent at pitching I could be 16-0

lol this year I swear to God I have never seen so many bloop hits and it’s starting to [censored] me off so much because I’m 7-2 but I could be 9-0 if I don’t constantly get screwed over by bloop hits when I’m pitching and good contact line outs when I’m hitting.

I just recently finished a game, and my opponents home fields was 300 feet down the line and he hit about 3 homers that wouldn’t be gone on any other field in the game. So why the hell does this game allow fields to be this short?

I have played 2 ranked games and I have not gotten any xp.

I just entered a ranked game and mlb the show exited out without me pressing anything, I also got the loss I have got 6 losses this year because of this.

technically using meter is the least helpful and provides the least benefit for the pitcher so I say about 90% or more legitmate good players dont use meter and use pinpoint. I use meter bc im usually doing other stuff while I play and im a WS player and have a good record so you can win with it. but your approach and pitch selection is the only thing that truly matters. hard to offer advice without seeing. we can friendly anytime just dm me, but typically you can fall into a pattern that ppl realize. also sometimes thats fine but you have to be smart. for instance I pitch and have dominated with jackson jobe, to lefties you know im throwing a slider, I know I am too down and in, but the thing is im throwing it just inside enough that its a foul or a ground out. hard to give perfect tips to someone without seeing but also velocity matters
I think I probably will go into pinpoint one day, but my main problem with pinpoint is how many people I walk.
I dont use it, which is funny bc I believe the old 2k baseball games had close to pointpoint and I thrived on it.
Same, I used pinpoint in MLB2K13.

Hard to say without knowing how you pitch. I think there are a lot of ways to pitch effectively in this game, just like the real game. It all comes down to keeping the opponent off balance. I always take a batter or two to see if I can figure out my opponents approach at the plate. Are they a free swinger, do they have good plate discipline, are there certain pitches or locations they can’t lay off, are there certain pitches or locations they are sitting, do they struggle righty righty or lefty lefty. From there I develop an approach and I continue to adjust as needed. Also remember that timing trumps pci placement, so I would always try and make sure you are mixing pitches and not allowing them to just time up similar pitches….meaning don’t just feed sliders and changes or sinkers and four seams. If you do this, they will have much better success just because they will have an easier time getting their timing down.
The figuring out the approach thing helped a lot in my last game, He was crushing slurves for strikes then you throw it in the dirt and he swings.

I have been playing a lot of ranked seasons and I even made it to division series, but I have one problem. My team ERA is 7.11 and I really want to improve it because it has costed me at least 10 games. Any tips?
