How in the world are there teams with only 7 flashback cards while there are also teams with 20+ right now?

I have to thank SDS for fixing two things that are small but they annoyed me and I actually think I asked for them specifically.
First: umpire volume slider
The ump voices are unrealistic and just awful. I’m so glad I can turn them down/off.
Second: when I’m navigating through our collection, we can now click on a card, then back up and it doesn’t take us all the way back to the top row of the team cards.
Absolutely love and appreciate those changes/additions!

The silence from SDS is completely unprofessional and pathetic. It’s such a bummer because they used to care about the community and the game.

hello, so I had a lot going on when the All-Star Bench card/program was in the xp rewards path so I wasn’t able to unlock it. Am I up [censored] creek? Was that the only chance to get that card? Thanks for any info.

I’ve never seen a professional baseball player take so long to change direction and retreat to a base. The physics and momentum are as if they are all hogs on ice.
And the worst of all: the baserunners auto-diving back to a base whenever a ball is hit is beyond ridiculous. Nobody desperately dives back to the base on contact. They freeze, assess the situation and either get back or advance. That is without a doubt the worst gameplay inaccuracy I’ve seen in the game.

Also I’m not sure what you’re asking for. If you perfect/perfect right at the shortstop, should he jump out of the way so that you get rewarded for a good swing?

It actually makes perfect sense to anybody that has played a decent amount of baseball in real life. If you rip a ball but it happens to be a laser right at a defender, that’s the breaks. But guess what, you’re going to break a bat or hit a squibber that sneaks through eventually, too. It all evens out in the long run. That’s baseball. If that upsets you, you might be better off playing Madden or nba2k.

My guess is MLB didn’t make as much money as they wanted to last year so they scrapped it.

Of all the cards ever released in this game, wouldn’t you think a 28 yr old version of The Wizard of Oz would have 99 fielding?! Or even 90??! Unbelievable. Dude is in the HoF strictly because he was the greatest defensive shortstop of all time.

It’s a bug. PCI resets after every pitch vs lefty pitchers. Been like that since launch.

@DFC_MLBTS elevation, unless I’m missing something, has always been a mystery wrapped in a riddle. If there is a way to see the data for the ballparks, sds sure hasn’t made it easy to find.

@The_Joneser_PSN 100% this. The first thing I do after loading up the game each year is put the commentary slider to zero.

90% of the storyline is about how fast he was. Getting in bed before the lights go out, Jesse Owens not wanting to race him, etc.
I was excited when I finished his story and unlocked his card…only to see his speed attribute is 89!!! Hahahahaaaa what is going on here??!!
