Is there anybody I can put at catcher who can fit the speed team boost from season 2? I’m having no luck

I will do my best to not come off as harsh. I’m an average player yet trust me I really do enjoy this game. However, are a few issues I’ve had this year.

Just late home runs with like 90 mph exit velo have been bad. I’ve hit them and so have my opponents. Also, early hits seem nearly
impossible to keep fair. I’ve hit countless foul ball home runs on early swings this year. I get it I’m early, but when you square up an early swing it’s like a 90% foul ball rate.

Good swings seem to be getting an exit velo nerf too if your pci isn’t near perfect.

On the bright side very early hits seem a lot less successful compared to what they were.

The biggest issue I have is the 100+ mph groundouts and not being able to get hardly anything past the infield except when you get late bloop hits on inside sinkers lol. I know we’ve all experienced super diving this year.

For all the amazing plays the infielders make though, they’ll have weak ground balls hit at them where they just get horrid animations and 56 speed ends up getting infield singles. Diamond fielders are making these mistakes too.

And of course how weak little bloopers in front of home plate make us all scared because of how often they turn into hits.

I know this isn’t well organized but those are just my thoughts. It hasn’t felt very rewarding this year yet it’s still in way better shape than games like madden but I don’t want to say that as if I’m letting them slide off the hook. Gameplay could definitely use some tuning.

Curious to hear some other people’s thoughts!

I hit so well with him that I was wondering if there were any cards with his swing. I know it's a unique one.

Like I'm speaking from experience being on the receivng and getting end of this.

They can do like 180 degree spins no look back handed grabs and my fielders usually never even get good jumps lol.

And catchers can't pick up a tapped ball right in front of them in less than 5 seconds.

I don't know the answer to this. If anyone knows that'd be great!

I said this on my last post and I'll say it again. I am of course a first year player so I haven't completely figured out this game yet. There's something I've been wondering though.

I'm awful at hitting. My batting average has to be like around .150 this year lol. It's difficult. However, it just seems that with some players, no matter the pitcher, I just get hits with them.

It wasn't until July that I took gold Wade Boggs off my team and I was hitting .316 with him. I got his 99 and I'm currently hitting .450 lol.

Another example is the All star 96 Bogarts. I got him to parallel three so he's a 98. I've had him since he released and I'm hitting (an awesome for me) .286 all time with him.

Is this just a coincidence or is it true that there are players that just work for me?

I did some digging and found that I actually have a few. I have the Holland, Davis, Saberhagen, Damon, Hosmer, and one of the Perez's lol. I went ahead and bought Witt Jr. with some stubs I had as well.

But, I still need Lacy, Brett, Grienke, Soria etc. I'm guessing that the prices of these will drop if I'm interpreting you all correctly?

(I also don't really mind if they're in Royals uniform or not for their card. If there are some that aren't feel free if anyone wants to share and I'll definitely consider them. I can't keep track of all the cards in this game lol).

Hey all. This is my first year playing and I have been enjoying the game (even though I suck). Now with it being late into the year, I want to make a theme team with my Royals.

I went to check the prices on some cards and I don't understand why there are 89's worth 200K+ right now. If someone could explain that to me that'd be great.

Also, just how should I go about doing this. What should I play, focus on etc.
