To be fair, pitching moments tend to be one-and-done, and there weren’t too many long ones. I ended up getting lucky starting a cardinals pitcher in br and the guy quit after one batter, which made it a lot easier.

Could be increased demand for the central/east because there might be more people trying for the prospects collection now that part of it is free? That’s my best guess.

To be fair, the reason Joc is going for so much is that he’s one of the few sellable players for the Shohei collection. The other ones will increase in value but it’s hard to imagine they get anywhere near the 42k that Joc is.

I would doubt Mullins gets another high card, same goes for Bader

Where is the Ozzie Smith coming from?

I was playing a ranked game, scored in the 4th to go up 4-1, then the game froze mid-play. This is my first freeze-off (lucky I guess), so I don’t know what to do. I don’t have any need to play the show for a while so if I leave it running with no automatic rest mode I should be fine right? (assuming he quits)

I started this year a little later in the game cycle, but is it possible that the next big collection comes alongside TA4? For example: TA1 released with Jackie, TA2 released around Rivera, TA3 released with Shohei. Curious what y’all are thinking about this as a possibility?

Get the animation when trying to turn a routine double play where the throw pulls the ss/2b off the bag and you get nothing on what should’ve been two? I swear I see it once a game in ranked, not too often in other modes.

Anyone have any success with him? He’s the highest Ovr starter on my cardinals team other than As Lynn but good lord the guy can’t keep the ball in the park. I do way better with 87 Cy Young and 86 Liberatore. It’s confusing because his pitch mix is similar to people I have success with.

I’ve been running with a cardinals theme team this year, I was wondering what y’all think about the outlook for some more cardinals? Ranked is getting a little rough with all the all star cards now (especially the pitchers making the already small pci even smaller). I’m expecting upgraded Musial, Brock, maybe Gibson, Nado, Yadi, Pujols? I’d love to see a juiced Dylan Carlson but he’s not really having the season to earn one. Also, did Sds lose Hornsbys rights? I feel like we’d have seen some version of him by now.

My go to is get 3-0, take to 3-1, take the next pitch unless it’s piped, then chase a slider away on 3-2.

I’ve been on the BR grind a lot lately, and it was a rough day, so I made this. Honorable mentions are bloop hits and “opponent using diamond pitcher”.

Opening each pack is an “independent event” from a statistical standpoint. So theoretically, the odds of you getting a diamond on a fresh pack should be the same regardless what happened on the pack(s) prior. For example, if you opened a ten pack bundle and pulled Trout first pack, your odds of pulling a diamond (for pack #2) should be the same as if you had pulled a bronze in the first pack. I try not to buy packs at all, since it’s so rare to even break-even on them.

Something I do that occasionally works is placing my thumb on the bottom part of the stick (versus directly on top) so it’s a bit harder to drop unconsciously. It also helps hit those high sinkers. Only problem is that it makes it a little harder to consistently hit the ball down, but for me there’s nothing worse than dropping my pci and popping up something down the middle. Good luck!

I had that happen while pitching the other day, I kept trying r2 and step off, and eventually stepping off worked. Could be a problem if it becomes frequent.

This year I’ve tried to take things less seriously, so I’ve only played with players who play(ed) for the cardinals. It’s worked pretty well and it makes the game more fun for me. The squad is:

Also, I’m sure you could make a whole team of guys we traded away as prospects that are going off now too (Garcia, Arozarena, Wisdom, etc.) thanks for any input!
