well i like the knuckelball idk what is so bad about it other than hitting against it but its like all the other off-speed/breaking balls where you have to wait till its up or get out front on
has anyone else in rtts hit 94 and or 95 mph i just did for the time for both 94 & 95 mph idk if its a glitch or if they upped its max speed cause at that point might as well be a cutter imo
ok i will try them out as closer
Imma try something new imma let The Show 21 community choose a team for me imma choose closer like usual but imma do the filthy archetype but i want yall to choose the team i play on let me know 🤩

I’m grinding on DD to preserve my players age on RTTS. I want to get him to diamond on DD then play RTTS. I’m at the end of my first season, hoping to get my called up once I grind out Diamond.

i have the diamond kitchen sink for my pitcher its main thing is velocity he hits 100-102 mph around the 3rd to 5th inning depending on how many pitches hes thrown and thats without maxing the meter out i got it in like 2 days of non stop playing
imo with a knuckelball in my repertoire whether its my 3rd or 4th pitch id always avg 8-12ks a game based on what type of line up there was times i got 25ks but that was rare and when my pitchers confidence was up to where i could hit perfect on the meter 8/10 times a inning but that was rare cause my last knuckler was in the show 20 and i didn’t have success with him he only won 86 games lost 118 started 147 games had 21 quality starts 9 complete games before they decided to put me as a closer 🤨
I have a Starting pitcher not two way i know i have like 3-4 different files but i wanted to work on the control archetype a little bit at the beginning i accidentally hit i want to be drafted by a national league team and got stuck with the brewers idk anything about them this year they seem solid but in the minors i dont know how good they actually are cause with the shuckers and 12 games played and 12 games started i only won 7 games and lost 0 while pitching darn near perfect every game having pitched 99 innings and only allowing 23 hits for 2 Runs and 2 Earned runs while only giving up only one homerun and striking out 232 and only walking 1 with the ERA 0.18 i may bump the difficulty up to legend and competitive cause simulation ain’t giving me real stats in the minors but when i get to the majors i get destroyed by lack of run support or i misplace my pitches
truthfully i think they are starting to make release points more involved now but i always like glavins his is top of the zone makes it impossible to time a 100+ mph fast ball if thats the archetype you like

Starting to almost rather a KB over screwball. How a screwball has more movement than a reg curveball I have no idea.

i have done a experiment with that i have seen it also but the screwballs movement depends on release point i have rtts pitcher that made that use the tom glavin release point and his screwball looks like its goin to hang then drops at last second where as his knucklecurve will ride the release point then drop i tried a 12-6 but it was uncontrollable i couldn’t get it to hit the bottom of the zone without it bouncing past the cather even i hit perfect on the meter the only curve j saw with more late life/ fake hanging movement (which nearly makes me [censored] myself if its a close game that i pitched 7+ innings in) is the slurve idk what difference it has but that slurve i cant pitch to leftys if im a righty cause itll drill em every time
i wished theyd go back to the old training system back in the show 13-17 13s since coach told you where they wanted to see trained and 17s multiplier
