9 inning games equal 3 program stars?

I think I have seen this before but I am pushing towards 500 and I got 440. So if I play 6 games a day or so it should give me about 18 stars a day correct?

It's based on XP and not innings played but if you play normally then you should be able to get 3 points.

Or you could play HR derby for 4 stars every 20 minutes.

Is there a set number of home runs you need to hit and I assume u have to win or make the final right?
Games usually take me about 30-40 minutes if playing without bunting and throwing down the middle.
