85 Kershaw > 99 Kluber

Well not exactly. I assume everyone knew this, but I did not: In offline DD games if you play your 5th starter, your opponent will play its 5th starter. Now that I have an all-diamond rotation, I've been starting my lowest one (85 Kershaw) almost constantly. Scoring runs on their bronze-level starter has been a lot easier than facing their aces.

Yeah, its a filthy habit that has messed my game up. I got so used to facing teams 5th starter I really struggle when I have to face a good pitcher.

Yikes, I had not anticipated this problem, lol. Maybe I'll let Kluber and Smoltz start once in a while...

Don’t do this against the Yankees. I kept starting Pearson against them for the Posada program and it was matching me up with Gerrit Cole every time.

Play vs CPU is random on what pitcher you will face.
In Conquest it matches with your selection based off of overall ratings. So you’re 5 best rated SP will go against their 5th best.

Every play vs. cpu I’ve ever done has been matched up by # in the rotation. The Yankees just seemed to be bugged and had Cole matching up against your 5th starter too.
