Man was excited to finally get this card to add to my bullpen. Cruising along on my way to CS. Two game Rollie blow the lead and gives up Walk Off HRs. One game up 3or4 going into the 9 the other tied. I don't spam or cheese high sinkers, Question is, this card useable without spamming high sinkers for those who have success with him.

Yeah, throw forkballs. Everyone is just swinging as early as possible this year, like they drank a case of monster energy. Just spam low offspeed like it’s ‘18 and laugh as they are too early over and over again. If it looks like they’re slowing the bat down pop a sinker middle in until they start swinging like a windmill again.

You have to be careful, most people sit sinker on him, but some sit forkball on him. Adjust accordingly.

@abbyspapa 's point is a good one. As good as Rollie's stats are, he is more deceptive than overpowering. Watch the better's behavior, and see which pitches they are getting consistent bad timing on, and increase their frequency until they start zoning in, then switch it up. Suddenly the pitch (like a sinker) they were lining up will explode on them they way you want them too.
