Headliner Packs 14-43

Was there this outrage when Future Star cards were made a couple years ago? Robles, Reyes and whoever else.
I'm not a big fan of "projection" cards but it is what it is. Also not real big on the monthly cards either.
-
To the people who seem to think it is futile making opinions known on this forum.
Remember when you only had one lineup which you would have to change constantly when grinding? Forum feedback led to us getting four slots in 19.
Remember when you used to have to quit out of games in BR and Events if you wanted to restart a run? Forum feedback fixed that in 19.
Unless someone is being overtly toxic and rude (like “Screw SDS” posts), there is no reason why this topic can’t be brought up and discussed.

I’ve never been a fan of them either, but at least the high diamond Future star cards were only given to top prospects in years past.
18 had a program with a future star from each team, but 24 were golds and only 6 were diamonds.

Jeez...you're so triggered. DD is a fantasy mode no one drew the line at 1918 Legends. They're not doing a bad job of creatively releasing content during a year in which there's no baseball. Maybe they figured they'd look into the future during a lost year. You honestly need to chill the hell out.
The majority of these players from "1918" earned the right to have high rated diamonds through their real life production and subsequent HOF inductions.
The majority of these future stars haven't played a single game in MLB, so giving them high rated diamond cards makes as much sense as giving Macho Man one because he played in the minors.
They also didn't play against people of color or 102mph Sinkers... ️

DD is a fantasy land game mode lol. go play franchise if u want realistic stats and cards.

Bro you need to chill

Did the fantasy foosball hurt your feelings?
When they started giving people attributes over 99, we entered level 50 of dreamy land.
Strap yourselves in and enjoy the nonsense, because things are going to get even more fun when the Switch players arrive next year.
We are all gonna be fielding starting lineups of Peach, Toad, Samus, Link, Pikachu, King K. Rule, Isabelle, Kirby and Simon Belmont.

Randy Savage 95 ovr 3rd Inning Boss?
Just as much credibility as any of these other future stars.
Oh, we’re putting rappers in the game now?

So that means that Kevin Smith deserves a rating nearly equal to that of Ty Cobb or Rogers Hornsby?
These are literally fabricated cards with random prospects names attached to them in the name of content. If they replaced Kevin Smith with Optimus Prime, Scooby Doo or Joffrey Baratheon it would be the same thing.

The Ty Cobb and Hornsby cards aren’t their highest version though. That’s like saying why are there so many cards rated higher than 84 Frank Thomas.

With this kind of mentality, why not just release a full roster of 99 Pepe Alazars? If it’s a fantasy land anyway, then why not give the people what they really want. Every card could have maxed out stats since according to you, realistic stats or attributes only matter in Franchise.
No one is asking for anything unreasonable here. I don’t think it is too much to ask for SDS to stick to player performance based attributes covering a week, a month, a season, a 3 year period, or whatever criteria they decide upon when creating a series of cards.
While prospect projections are far from perfect since many top prospects never make the majors and some guys come out of no where to become All-Stars, they would at least be more realistic than making everyone a highly rated diamond just because...
The answer is not “go play franchise”. That is the same “Love it or leave it” logic that people use to avoid fixing real problems in the US. How about actually thinking about the issue and coming up with a solution? Or is that too much effort? Maybe you should just “go play Diamond Dynasty” if you can’t handle anyone else’s opinion on the Internet without dismissing it out hand.

I'll take that deal if I can get an "OH YEAH" stadium sound out of it or something.

If they brought in G.O.T. characters I'd grind all day and night until I had them all like an 8 year old on crack catching all the pokemon. Would probably lose my job and wife.

I don't know the big fuss over this. Everyone was sick of playing the same exact team every game, now they give options of future stars cards and everyone hates it because its unrealistic.
You can't have it both ways.

This is a perfect example of sds fixing something while breaking another. They added multiple lineups the same year they completely got rid of grinding, making them next to pointless.

You actually can by releasing high rated flashbacks and legends instead of these cards. And it’s not about money. If these were all flashbacks (that’s SDS already has rights too) the community would’ve been very happy about it.

That’s a valid point as I would have appreciated the feature more in 17 when we had to use specific cards for missions more often, but it was useful for separating my ranked team from various fun team builds.

This would not be the same thing, this would be so much awesomer. Like at least 200 more awesomer.

Then you would get people complaining that the card they bought (insert specific player) just got a way better card and now mine is obsolete. You can't make everyone happy.
