Something we should be able to agree on finally

When hits are perfect/perfect and the thunder claps, and the batter is at least a 75 in power, these balls should be hits. Just had Diamond Cargo blast a mammoth outfield fly to center with that description. I’m still just flabbergasted.
-
I don't agree with that because the ball can still be lined towards an infielder or outfielder with 200mph exit velo for all I care, all they have to do is stick the glove out and it's an out. So I don't think these should ALWAYS be hits. I do agree that perfect/perfect hits should result in hits the majority of the time, something like 70/30.

Yeah, my issue isnt that perfect perfect aren't always hits, my issue is when I see a less than 100mph with a guy I know can hit more than 100mph we were told it was supposed to yield max exit velocity, that isnt always true. Just like guys with bomber quirk should have been no doubt and that doesn't happen either.
But let's face it, fielding is still bigger headache

I hear what you're saying, I don't understand how exit velocities can be lower than the velocity of the thrown pitch with good contact. That's an issue imo. Make no mistake about the bomber quirk though, that does nothing extra; it's just an indication that the guy has power beyond a certain threshold. So whenever a card goes over that threshold, it receives that perk. These are passive quirks, they don't do anything unlike active quirks like red 'Dead Red' or 'Breaking Ball hitter'.

Oh I know, but they said in the stream guys with over 80 power would hit HRs with perfect perfect fly, it's not true.

Ah okay gotcha. But what they said on that stream is that 80 is the sort of minimal threshold to hit homeruns, which also doesn't mean you can't hit homeruns with lower power guys. They also said that 100 power is preferred to hit bombs consistently if I'm not mistaking.

I'd have to go back to see. I just thought they said 80 was the threshold that it would always be a HR, but would still see guys with under, it just wouldn't be every time.
Perfect perfect flys to the warning track are the only times I am aggravated with hitting, other than that I am more upset with fielding.

It was true when they said it, for like 3 whole days.

they still hit homeruns, its just not every time they hit perfect/perfect. That is by design though, balances the stats, when you have line ups that have guys with 80+ power 1 through 8 it would make the game pretty long and boring watching every swing go for a HR. Every year this game needs some balancing, when they do find the balance some people hate it, while others enjoy it. I don't envy the devs at SDS at all.

My only issue is I’m getting perfect/ perfect ground ball, and sometimes it’s a line drive right to an infielder . Has anybody else come across this? Not mad it’s an out just weird how it’s not a ground ball.
-
Here is what happened with my last game
Perfect Contact Hits (Perfect-Perfect)
Kiermaier: 103 mph (Kiermaier doubled to right. )
Meadows: 109 mph (Meadows grounded out to 2B (4-3). )
Adames: 103 mph (Adames homered to left (417 feet). 1 RBI)
Kiermaier: 100 mph (Kiermaier grounded out to 2B (4-3). )
McKay: 105 mph (McKay batted out to 1B (L3). )Only 1 home run and i don’t see a problem with that.
-
Batted balls with exit velocity above 100 MPH recorded an average around .620 in 2019. So i'd expect to get a hit 6 or 7 times out of 10 on average. I'd guess that's correct for perfect/perfect. In fact, I bet my average with that feedback is even higher than that - I feel like I can count the perfect/perfect outs on one hand in 40 games.

It’s a “simulation” game. That may be the most as
