When is this next patch coming out?

It's been almost 2 full weeks of people complaining. It has also been 3 weeks since fielding has been tweaked (at least that's what 1.08 says). It's getting a little ridiculous and I've completely lost interest playing the game. I keep losing because pitch control and fielding mechanics literally [censored] the bed.
I just want an update that fixes something we are all complaining about, that is all.
I understand SDS isn't at the office and it's harder, but I mean it's also been 2-3 weeks and still nothing. Everyone is at home doing nothing at this point and we aren't going back for at least another couple of weeks, if not months. Can sds just push us out a patch that fixes what we are complaining about?
2 things this patch better at least look at: Pitching and Fielding. Idc if it doesn't get completely fixed because it's a lot to fix and all, but just at least get something moving in the right direction with both of them.. pitching: accuracy; Fielding: realistic animations and locking on. Just some little things they can bring back from previous games.
Idk I'm just ranting at this point because I'm losing interest and feel like I've wasted a lot of money on a mediocre game.
Content is great, gameplay is bleh.

Don't you think SDS would if they could? They aren't just "sitting" on the fix for fielding and deciding not to put it out.
1.08 "touched" fielding yes, but it solved nothing, Obviously the patch was rushed and didn't address what needed fixing, so asking them to rush out another patch is pointless. The patch will come when SDS figures out whatever they screwed up. I'd rather them take their time and actually fix it, then rush something out and risk breaking other stuff. Wouldn't you prefer that to?

Here’s an idea, I know it’s slightly radical and may be a bit of a shake up from the way we usually see SDS at work, but how about making sure the game works as intended before launch? I mean it’s a game that’s relevant for about eight months of the year, maybe nine. Every year, they take two months to get the game working properly. During the development phase there was no Coronavirus outbreak. During the closed alpha there was no Coronavirus outbreak. During the first couple of months of ‘19 where we had similar issues with the game, there was no Coronavirus outbreak. Unfortunately, I can’t just give SDS a free pass because of Coronavirus, because they would have released the game in the same state and taken just as long to apply a fix. We only have to look at last years game to see the precedent being set, independently of global events. When you pay $100 for a game that is relevant for less than a year before they expect you to start over again, with all the associated costs, you shouldn’t have a broken unplayable mess for 25% of that timeframe. How about a $25 refund on every purchase? Didn’t think so.

I think they are struggling big time with their work from home communication. If you look back at patch history nothing that was listed in the patch notes appears to have been resolved except a couple smaller things (throwing meter getting stuck in red, baserunner window). Issues like the home run banner not going away, fielders not locking on, pitch accuracy all were listed as fixed but clearly have not been. Now fielders not locking on and pitch accuracy are more than likely very complicated issues to resolve but the home run banner not going away should be a very straight forward fix and easy to quality control check. My guess is its going to take them weeks for what they could have fixed in days just being considerate of individuals schedules and work from home constraints. I'd guess mid to late May before we get resolution on the bigger issues.

I haven't played a single game now in weeks.. Yes, I've been sick. But, I have not missed it. And, apparently, nothing has changed.

I agree with @eatyum. I know it’s frustrating there hasn’t been another patch yet, but I really think too they’re trying to get it right with a “patch” and not “patches”.

Come on guys, pandemic, work from home, end times...just be glad you have a game at all. No one can do nuffin anymore.
Buy some headliner packs and be grateful you are alive.

Why did they make the first patch? Is it possible that how we want it to play and how they want it to play are different?

I just want to put on record that everything was so much better when the game was in the first release stage (that Friday before everyone got it). Hitting was perfect, fielding had no problems. They just needed to fix the pitching but now we have 3 things wrong. Also, I have a little bit of understanding of code and I don't see a huge issue of going back to games where pitching and fielding worked and trying to get the code to match the way it did in the past. Idk maybe it isn't that simple or else they would've fixed it. But rn I don't feel like.playing the game when it's pretty much broken and unenjoyable (especially when I can't get out of Wild Card and was a world series player last year)

You sound like my grandpa, sitting on the porch, saying everything was better back in the old days.
Obviously the game has changed and you need to buy stubs now. You can not expect people to work on fixing fantasy baseball games anymore. This is not 2019.
They have more important things to do then "fix" their product. If they release a patch, be grateful and spend some more money on stubs and headliner packs.
This forum needs some sage spread around to decrease all the negativity.

I have seen game developers working before most actually do a lot of work from home and play the game to find the bugs. So the pandemic should not have anything to do with the fixing of coding to fix the bugs. Really they should be able to have remote access which I'm sure they do and can edit the coding in real time. I use team viewer to control my clients computers in labs across the county. This isn't the days of having to send in notes through email and have someone in the office implement them like they did on grandma's boy.
The fact that the players league guys are complaining about the fielding and pitching does make it seem like they will fix these issues. I feel like they should have just kept the engine of 19 and added in showdown and taken out storylines cause 19 was nice. Had its quirks but you could rely on fielding and pitching for the most part.
