HR Derby Tip
-
For all you HR derbiers out there, here is a tip to make it go faster. Press triangle and circle at the same time when you swing. It skips much faster. It doesn't matter which button you press to hit a HR. I hit 500 foot home runs using the circle button. Also, energy doesn't matter. Only call a timeout when the timer is about to run out so you can get an extra home run. I think HR Derby is the best way to get XP if you don't mind the grinding. I'm 94 diamond XP level. I would be higher but I only started doing HR Derby a week ago.

If you do arcade mode energy isn't a factor at all.
-
I tried arcade mode but I had to focus too much on it. I like HR derby. Energy isn't a factor at all in HR derby too
-
94 Diamond?! Wow! I’m only at silver level 43 I guess it’s time for some homerun derby

You have to turn off timeouts. Then energy doesnt effect anything

But if you keep timeouts, you can call one when the timer is at 1 second and get an extra HR. Energy doesn't matter because I still hit HRs with no energy

approximately 9k-10k XP per derby which takes about 30 minutes. So basically you level up every 30 minutes

Ok that is a good idea. I saw on Reddit that someone put a rubber band on the controller and it kept the triangle held down. I also play 1 on 1 mode and restart.

Yesterday I leveled up 15 levels. And yes I do sleep every night. If I didn't I would be prestige by now

ive had the same issue. The last three times that ive went over a level when I got out of the HR derby it said I was back at where I started.
-
I’ve reset the app multiple times, it’s happened before, I was at Diamond 25, and now I’m stuck at 23
-
Wonder if they patched it because they knew people were abusing it
-
Breathe people. No, on second thought, do what pleases you. I just can't fathom the reason for grinding XP this hard. For a forever program like the reward path, I know I'll eventually get there. I hit diamond last year in probably May or something. I'm high silver right now.
If it was grinding on something that has a limited time, like the inning programs, I get that. But we'll all have the XP rewards soon enough. But you do you.
