We don’t know what happened. Well actually, you’re comparing the patched product at the end of the season to what we have now before the patches. Also, the funny thing is, it’s almost identical to last year and the opposite of the year before. Last year, outfielders couldn’t make plays, particularly if the play was near a wall, infielders butchered routine plays, catchers couldn’t throw out runners, players would run through solid walls and grandstands to make catches and people complained hitting was fine at launch but SDS broke it with the first patch they released. At least content was pretty decent. Bizarrely, this year is almost identical in every way.
Now, ‘18 was the inverse, people complained hitting was too easy, pitches were too slow, content was too limited etc. Basically the opposite of this year and last year. I wish they’d find the median.

The OP has no idea what he's talking about, dude prolly played a few games on some noob setting like All Star with default pitch speeds and saw a few errors in the outfield and made his mind up in like 2 weeks. This year's game is the best ever!! Yes, the outfield thing and the infield bobble things will be fixed in future patches I'm sure.....like how it is every year!!. But the subtle things is what I'm totally digging this year, like how when there's a wild pitch it doesn't have the same out come as past year's games?.... a wild pitch can practically go anywhere....I love it! And outfielders actually trapping the ball if its a close play when they know they can't make a dive...awesome!!!. And I know there's prolly a bunch more left to see as I play more.....this year's game is just nice a fluid...the flow is very good....this is as closest to baseball as we've ever gotten in a video game.

I actually thought hitting was easier in 19 when compared to 18 ... 18 was playing much better later in the season when they patched stuff up, similar to 19, it also got cleaned up later in the year... 20 the same thing will probably happen, how the game play's now won't reflect on how the game is playing in 5 months or so ..

I haven’t had the OF issues that people speak of but have had a few silly things in the IF. When it comes to catchers, I ha e had very good success with blocking and throwing out runners (even with Grandal and Garver).
I’m very happy with catcher play. Pitching accuracy (with those that have good command-Glavine Maddux etc) should throw dots with the user input shows p/p

this is the worst game I’ve played in my life , how can you still have these blatant horrible issues in the game and don’t even address them or try to fix them. The game has been garbage for 4 years and it has barely gotten better and gotten worse in some areas. It’s embarrassing they even put this garbage out.

Take it from someone who has a family member that works in the gaming industry.........Best thing to do is not spend anymore money on this game....Unless the main twitch streamers are complaining, you're not going to see a lot of movement. One more thing..look at all the posts that r up about how bad this game is..and no response from the devs...that`s because they don't care

‘20 isn’t great, but 18 and especially 19 were so absolutely horrendous you cannot possibly call them worse besides the fact that you’re frustrated 20 rn

Online this shiit game may be worse than 18, and that is saying a lot. If SDS cannot hire some competent developers fast this shiit game will have no one left, it’s that bad.
