This is 100% correct.
What I do not understand is why are people driving themselves insane trying to get a card that very few of us will ever use. There are sooooo many better options at 2nd base / LF.
I was grinding the moments and I realized that I was getting frustrated for a card that will never make my team. Even No Money spent guys have better options (XP Reward Sandberg, Monedesi plus FOTF cards like Gleyber).
If you are a Jackie or Dodgers fan knock yourself out. But for the rest of us, don't let these missions drive you nuts. Besides we have two new programs dropping today (POTM and 2nd Inning). -

Yes, but how can we have everything if we're not entitled to everything? We should always have everything we want, because we want everything, no? Didn't Super Mario Bros. on NES give you the princess for free after 10 unsuccessful runs? Or was it 20? Mike Tyson's Punch Out took a knee for a 10 count on your 3rd try though, that I'm sure. I remember refusing to play CoD but getting the trophy on PSN anyway, because I needed them.

You think I want to get 3 triples with a gold Jackie card in conquest? How does that not punish online players. If you couldn’t afford PSN or couldn’t get internet good enough to play online, I can see the issue. You flat out refusing to play online is the exact same thing as forcing me to play conquest

You clearly are not a completist or have OCD. Those of us who play offline need goals to achieve, completing all programs or collecting all cards is our focus. Seeing those items left unfulfilled is going to bother us. I spent 50k to get to 1000 stars for 1st inning program. Technically that program ended at 300, but I cant leave that much on the table.
When I am financially able I am getting PS plus because I saw today that you can get a Prestige Diamond Barry Larkin. I want all Reds cards seeing that Prestige Diamond dark in my inventory is going to bother me. I hate playing people online l. But this is leaving me no choice. Plus it'll be the only way I get Jackie at all. That 2 doubles one steal moment is going to take longer than playing online with rookie Robinson.

The prestige Larkin is earned through Prestige XP level, so you don’t need online for that. And I am a completionist, but only when its a reasonable goal to complete. You aren’t going to have every single card in this game without money or playing the market more than the game itself. Its not like the Jackie program is blacked out and says complete on it after you are done. Its not staring at you in the face because you didn’t get the 5 packs. You literally do not have to click on the screen after you get the card. Bonus rewards are exactly that, Bonus. The program is “complete” when you get the card. The bonus rewards are there and if you get them you get them.

You just refuse to admit you are wrong. The program is done when you get the card. If you want the packs, get the packs. You have both options to get the card. If we had the same missions but no extra rewards you wouldn't even have made the post.

I agree you it is a lot of work to get them all. My goals are complete all programs and own all Reds cards, my goal every year, I have no other goals. But since I dont care about making WS or having some stacked team, it gives me a goal. I am also looking to get Mantle too, it should happen, but may take all year.

I don't like that programs like Jackie Robinson top out at 95 stars for Offline players...the final 10 are through ONLINE only. I really feel it's only fair for all programs, etc to have alternate missions to earn the same amount of stars offline as online. For example, if the 2nd inning has as much as 50 stars you can earn through ONLINE play, there should be alterative for an offline player. Feel like it's penalizing you or a slap on the wrist for NOT PAYING for PlayStation +.
