And last year when those people were cheating inning programs, they patched it and we all started getting less XP for just playing the game. So hope that’s not the case with this.

Someone posted something like this about HR Derby awhile back and people said that was an exploit. They haven't nerfed that.

That’s not really that much XP though.
Showdown would be much faster. Just do the AL West’s first 2 bosses over and over since they’re on veteran. Don’t bother with the small moments.

What? Patch gaining XP at a steady rate by playing the game in whichever of the various modes you choose to embark upon? Ummm, that’s not how any of this works.
No matter if you play RTTS with sliders set to the easiest mode, HRD where you’ll receive 25XP per home run averaging 20-30 homers per round, diamond dynasty H2H etc. YOU ARE EARNING XP AT A STANDARDISED RATE. Playing Home Run Derby or RTTS for hours to gain XP is no more of an exploit than playing BR or RS for hours to gain XP. You may believe you’re gaming the system, but that’s one part that’s absolutely working as intended. You’re supposed to gain XP by playing, regardless of the mode. -

Only thing I remember about last year when the game came out was moments, you could change the setting on the sliders and it made it easier in Moments, I figure that out on my own but someone else posted it on the forum and that went away real quick cause they patched it. After that people were upset about how hard some of the moments were.
