Hitting feels pretty good, pitching isn’t that bad, but fielding is broken

SDS

That’s my opinion. Just played a ranked game where the only reason the guy was even in it, is three runs scored, off of two balls that literally bounced off my outfielder’s bodies. Like the ball hit them. I was so mad. Ended up winning but did it in the bottom of the ninth. I’ve lost a few games in ranked just due to fielding issues this year.

So hopefully they are patching it up as we speak. Infield doesn’t feel that bad. But the outfielders are struggling in this game. I even struggle with Mantle and he as great attributes. So something is off.

What difficulty you played on ?

I usually live in CS throughout the seasons. And yeah, I agree. Hitting feels pretty good.

Problem is if you have to run to a ball and you don’t stop on a dime in the little circle and have to then move a tad bit more forward or back it’s like they enter the twilight zone. One tiny touch one or the other will send them a into a schizophrenic episode and they can’t see the ball anymore.

That’s exactly right man.

Sometimes you can get to the circle smoothly and they just don’t lock on at all, at this point every fly ball gives me anxiety , needs to be fixed cause it’s just embarrassing for sds at this point. They sold a beta version of the game

Just had an event game, could care less about the loss 1-0. I lost because I could not score BUT. He had bases loaded 1 out line drive to short left, my fielder drops it. He holds on third I throw home and the catcher just stands a foot off of home plate and won’t move to the bag. That’s great programming

I'm not saying you're incorrect, but there is actually a pretty decent chance you play on AS in DS, because it depends on your opponent's rating. If he is rated below 700 (since you're rated 700-800 there is a solid chance this is the case), your game will be on AS, not HOF.

Also have you guys noticed that even when things go well, and you get there on the dime, he locks in, there is STILL this weird almost drop it animation like they catch it and their whole body moves weirdly. Like their arm goes behind their back, it just looks janky and stupid, I watch a ton of mlb and I never see anyone catch like that

I’m usually between 750-850. I always sit right in there. I know it’s a new season and I know when I’m playing on all star. Hitting on HOF feels good. Played 81 ranked games and beat this last HOF event. I don’t mind hitting right now.

I prefer HOF. Just because of pitching. Hard to get people out on all star.
