Not to mention the the 92 mph cutter is an Euphus and the 92 mph sinker is 150 mph
150 mph is underselling it
-
Same thig happened last year except it was Dirty Kershaw lol...
-
I remember the good ‘ole days when people complained about randomized starting pitchers. Weird, huh?
-
Its getting really annoying if people throwing Kluber in there late in the Game even he is low on energy and his Sinker is still coming in with 150 mph.
Or the Kluber/Newhouser Combo... Of course people are exploiting this feature... SDS should work on that and shouldnt let us sub in a SP after the 2nd or 3rd Inning. -

Best bet is to be a "guess hitter" when u face him.
It’s sad and pathetic that this game has come to this.

If they are going to make stamina actually matter in your rotation then it should actually matter. Your starters stamina is back after two games sitting so your rotation becomes somewhat ridiculous especially when you can now use your 4 and 5 out of the bullpen. They need to make some adjustments.
-
This is the downside to being able to pick your SP.
But they also need to make stamina stay down longer. You don't need a 5 man rotation with how quickly it regains.
They need to remove SPs coming in from the bullpen. Horrendous idea.
It's also overdue to utilize DH.
-
I’m starting to get a hang of Kluber . Vida blue is the hardest pitcher for me to hit. Then absolutely Pearson on legend
-
I wouldn’t mind facing him as much if the timing windows were consistent. With the sinker you have to swing on release and the cutter/changeup I got time to check my phone before I swing
-
They just shouldn’t have these pitchers available in the XP reward path until level diamond! So dumb to give them away so early. Thought they would learn from last year, but made it worse.

And where has that complaining gotten anybody if the game is still the same? I’ll say it again since you don’t seem to be grasping the concept. There is no singular “best way” of doing anything... there will always be people who suck at the game and they’ll knit pick and complain about anything to justify why they’re bad. But SDS are the ones who took the investment risk in order to be able to create the game they want. So you either take it or leave. Either way, stop complaining.
I hate people whining about everything but OP has a valid point. Not a good idea to have him available so early. And im sorry but "complaining" does make a difference. SDS does listen to the community, that's why it's not random pitcher anymore.
But hey you wanted it, you got it. Reminds me of '11, playing against CC and the Yankees 4 out of 5 games.
I honestly would rather have random in ranked and events, and choice when playing offline for missions and inning's and what not. What would be the best Is some kind of "locked" rotation or stamina where a pitcher can only pitch every 5 games.

Picking pitchers was a great idea. SDS just botched it like they do most things. A little testing would have shown energy levels coming back way to quickly allowing people to pitch them every 2-3 games.

Yeah I agree. Pitchers should’ve have full stamina until there has been 4 games in between their starts. Also, starters out of the pen is terrible. I will say everyone can do it, though, so it’s not unfair, just cheesy.

I am actually good with starters out of the pen. I was trying to use meter in RS and got blasted yesterday early. Had I not been able to bring a starter out of the pen, I would have needed to quit or completely deplete my pen for one game. Relievers get tired walking from the pen.

Yeah relievers get too tired this year for sure. I’ve used meter for years and it’s still working fine for me this year. If there are problems with analog I can’t really speak to it.

I was not very good with meter, couldn't hit the mark. User error. Went back to analog next game that lasted 1 inning.

Why can't they limit you to one starter per game (either in a traditional start or in relief of an opener)
until you have used all of your relievers?
That is more realistic. A team will not dip into using the starting rotation in relief until you have run out of arms, usually in extra innings (obviously this does not apply in the playoffs). -

I don’t think the complaints are about picking your pitcher, it’s a miscalculation from SDS of the stamina regen rate. If it’s a 5 man rotation, it should be 25% of the difference between full and energy left in the last game. So if he comes out at 20%, he should regen 20% per day off; at 40%, get 15% per day off and so on. It would prevent 3-man rotations and 4-5 as relievers
Either that or lock the SP in his spot (games 1-6-11-...506 SP1, 2-7-12... SP2.

Kind of like I said in my following comment.
