Freeze-off in loading screen?

I’m loading into a BR game right now and the screen that shows our teams is completely frozen. Is this normal? I’ve only ever seen freeze-offs when I’m playing the actual game, nothing like this.
I doubt I’ve disconnected. I’m running through a Cat6 cable which has really fast download/upload speeds.
I’m kinda thinking/hopeful that my opponent has disconnected and the game just shows I’m still loading in. So, if I close my game, do you guys think I’ll get the win?
