To keep bots away. I'm loving it so far. I've completely restructured my team in the last 2 days because the bot traffic has been non existent.

Yes, but for the 30 seconds i'm restricted i just watch my show or movie and then resume, I normal place my orders and then leave them for awhile anyway so it doesn't bother me much.
What bothered me up to this weekend is no orders would seem to go though and the bots would have 20 to 28 orders ahead of my order at all times, so yes i'm very encouraged by this weekend.

@samguenther1987_PSN this is very true it was an amazing weekend for me too up to 300k started weekend at 100k just stacking stubs for lightning and all star rn. Slim to no competition on cards. Worse thing I had to do was wait like 20 seconds when it says account restricted then just keep going.

Yeah it does seem to be on the app only as I’ve been getting it myself. Well worth the hassle if it keeps the bits away. Actually been able to flip a bit without constant undercutting.

@texastauper_mlbts yes. You have to slow down now in placing buy and sell orders. Go too fast and you get the “ account restricted “ notice. Basically, a cool down.

Seems like acount restricted is gone again this morning and the bots appear to be back in force.

Do the bots have to use the app? I guess I'm a little lost as to how they function.

I guess that makes sense. Easier to access app controls I suppose? I’m guessing it’s impossible to have a bot run on the actual console.
The thing that I’ve always found funny about the bots is that they’re basically stupid. It’s gotta be possible to create a bot that doesn’t “act like a bot“ and have it still be profitable. They just make these things so easy to notice.

Yeah, I, too, was able to make a few stubs yesterday in the market. I didn’t get all my bids, but I wasn’t “one stubbed” to death! It was very refreshing.

I get that. Can’t the repeating process be smarter/more tactful? I know, we would just prefer there were no bots at all, but my programming side is more frustrated at how they are programmed to operate than the fact that they exist

It seems that the cool down lasts way longer than 30 seconds. 3=4 minutes for me.
