If any of you have ever played an EA sports game like hockey or football you'd realize how much better this system. They are basically GIVING us the players for free. In EA you don't get anything and have to buy packs and they're so ridiculously priced you'd have to save up for a month to get 1 pack.
I agree the odds may not be accurate but in the end this is still way better than EA. It would be impossible to have a no money spent top tier team on EA. Here it is possible.

Why do you think there are so many available, going for teams #1 fan, the repeatable Conquest map, etc.?
SDS knew the majority would be stanky, steaming packs of poo, with every fly imaginable flying around them, the way flies swirl around poo, then dive in! Fruit flies, house flies, pop flies, the human actors who played 'The Fly,' etc.

As many have said before I’d much rather have far less packs and better odds than tons of packs with terrible odds. They are tedious to open knowing you are just going to be disappointed.
The fact reward paths give out single packs or 250/500 stubs at certain points is laughable. Thanks for the token rewards when Ohtani and Judge are going for over 1.5M combined.

And here we go again on June 18th.. the same old offline grinding c r a p coming up. Dq, conguest, mini seasons for another collection. To earn another 75 to a 150 packs with probably zero value or zero diamonds in them. All a waste of time at this point. Stale
I was on the for front saying to ban the pack glitchers. Nah. My view has changed. After opening up 400 packs without a diamond. The uncreativeness of this company and the pure money grab. Yeah they got what they deserved. They didnt ban anyone yet. Next time there is a glitch im jumping all over it.

New inning program drops and peolle have the rewards in 8 hours. Those people should all be insta-banned. Clearly something against tos is going on.
The cheat videos so that you can set your controller down and the cheat will perfect perfect pitch after pitch on legend difficulty. Surely they are just going to play vs cpu on legend, setting the controller down, and coming back to hundreds of thousands of xp.

Waste of time is what it’s turning in to for sure. Only reason most of us play is for our baseball fix because the game itself is awful.

@TripleH-4481_PSN it is demoralizing. Last night I had around 50 standards, 4 ballin, about 6 deluxe, 5 headliners, and the boss pack from the paxkaloosa program.
I thing I got one Jeremy pena. And every deluxe pack was baseround fodder.
I saw a streamer (the annoying blonde guy that usually plays madden) grt 2 ohtanis in a span of like 3 standard packs.

I went through a stretch probably 2021 where I was around 325 packs without a diamond. Been there, done that. Really sucks the desire to play.

You will never convince me streamers don't have better odds. It's as simple as placing them in a group with higher pack odds. Yes, it is that easy.

Obviously they give streamers better odds. When you scroll down on twitch to the 234th ranked game being broadcast to the enormous amount of 1,000 people you’ll get twitch streamers getting all the juiced packs lol. Real and true.

You truly are clueless about gaming companies and streamers. It really doesn't surprise me anymore how absolutely clueless and naive people are. It is why people like YFK have money.

Well, I just blocked another account here. I learned a valuable lesson many years ago. Anytime you call someone wrong -- regardless of the language you use -- you have a moral obligation to provide hard proof why they are wrong. Else, you are just tossing empty insults around.
Moreover, simply saying someone is wrong is a world removed from calling someone "clueless." When people chose to throw that kind of language around, it shows they have an agenda at work, and odds are very high it isn't a good one.
Finally this, anytime one is speaking in regards to how computer code works, the reality is that the only people who truly know how the code performs are the people who wrote the code. Is it possible for select customers of a video game to be manually added to a special list who have something like odds of higher quality cards?
Yes, it is possible. Thing is no one here knows if that is happening. And unless someone has hard evidence of these so-called "streamers" receiving significantly higher shares of diamond type cards, then accusations that they are fail to carry much weight.
I think the larger issue here isn't whether a small group of customers receive preferential treatment. Instead, the real issue is whether this game release was coded in such a way as to give less in rewards for equal or even greater in-game success?
I cannot say. I don't play DD modes. This constant angst about the difficulty of grinding -- it's too easy, it's too hard, it's unfair -- is just one reason why the whole DD game mode turns me off. The other reasons are people cheating in online play because for foolish reasons such people think success in a video game equals success in the real world, when it doesn't.
I think video games, particularly those based on sports, threw away what made them special when they started to focus on virtual trinkets and arcade style online and offline game modes, vice just focus on building the most realistic and visually attractive sports game experience. Meaning, make playing the game itself the focal point, and not all the other junk!
In other words, if playing the actual game of baseball isn't the draw for you, then buying MLB The Show should be a mistake. There should not be anything present in the title that artificially tries to spice up playing baseball.
I think eventually the video game companies are going to learn this. But, it's going to take customers walking away from bad experiences before it happens. Ultimately, if this game is making you angry, then just simply stop playing that mode that makes you angry, and if all the game modes make you angry, then stop playing the game.
