Hitting needs to be loosened up.

Dear diary, today I’m making another valid post that actually matters unlike all these other idiots who don’t matter because they posts things that don’t matter because they suck and I’m way better.
It’s pretty obvious they tightened up hitting added shrinkage and made the moonshot event low scoring to make getting stats harder because they hate you. Not because they are bad devs, they are singling you out specifically because they hate you and all think it’s funny you cant score in Moonshot.

I kind of agree, but feel like it needs to be more consistent. Like the fact that someone can sit there and foul off 10 pitches and then get a very early or late hit with no exit velo. Then the next half inning good squad have less then 90 exit velo and are basically pop outs on pitches in the zone. The RNG is just completely random and make no sense. 1 pitch is 95 and you foul it off with good timing, then they throw the same pitches same zone and it says your in the red late. The gameplay is just not consistent and SDS doesn't seem to care. Hence why they had to remove GOAT from online play and then last year gave up trying to get into Esports because their hitting and pitching engines were proven to not actually be about timing and skill but just random.

I think hitting is too easy. Every game I play is mostly a shootout. I guess it depends on what level in ranked you play.

@virusts_PSN hitting definitely isn't easy but I'm not using a pc monitor and playing on 60hz rather than 120hz makes a big difference in timing. People mostly only use pitchers that have a 100+ fastball and a 70mph change.

@DeleteyourTTVBTW_MLBTS you do realize they have monetized every aspect of the game right. Packs, flipping, collections, pay walls, yes even hitting and pitching they made tighter to help stall progression. Instead of just trying to smack talk people try listening.

So haven't been to the boards in a few days: Two threads about online opponents swinging at everything hitting HRs on every pitch off the plate. One thread that online hitting is too hard and perfect/perfects are outs. Honestly I feel for SDS in this situation how do you win here? (FYI I don't play online so my opinion means nothing)

@Precisionist99_XBL someone hitting balls out of the zone for home runs is maybe just a separate problem. But if anything just further clarification of the game just being off not playing correctly.

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL idk man we can say whatever we want but nobody’s gonna listen the game will never play perfect. I’m having a rough day on the game myself. If ur just venting I get it I use forms for that sometimes too but if ur actually looking for the game to be improved or help it won’t happen. I have everything most people can want in this game

I watch a lot of Rebels videos. If Pitching Rebel is squaring balls up that go no where, then the game has a problem cuz that dudes PCI placement is next level. I’m not on his level or even close, but I did go 12-0 once and I’ve noticed the inconsistencies. It’s worse this year than any other.

@platewelder_363_MLBTS u can perfectly square up a ball and have it go nowhere. in 2 of my ranked games earlier I had hits over 100mph get by the 3b then just die. the ball just stopped rolling before the left fielder could even get to it. It’s ridiculous because that’s so unrealistic if a ball is hit hard enough to get by the 3b at 100mph+ it’s either rolling to the wall or to the left fielder not dying in the grass. Like when the outfielders picked up the ball it was not moving the game just plays aweful at times again maybe bias but I had a rly rough day on the game. But I feel this is unrealistic.

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL I agree with u 100% sometimes it plays great but sometimes it’s just god aweful but like I’ve said multiple times Ive had a rough day gameplay wise and am just very turned off by this game rn. Would be nice if the issues would be fixed on this game instead of them trying to get me to pre register for this stupid mobile game every time I load into the app.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN I dont know how you play in the 900 levels man. Playing on legend against that competition doesnt appeal to me at all. I try to make ws and bounce from ranked till next season. Actually I take that back. I try to finish the season at around 700. Then try to make ws during weekend classic. Lol

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL idk tbh I just play a lot of ranked cause I enjoy the pvp aspect of the game that competitive kick. And br that [censored] shoot of a game mode doesn’t appeal to me whatsoever I haven’t made it this season haven’t even rly come close actually. I have made World Series and have fallen all they way back down to low cs now as the cream rises to the top I’ll probably end up near 900 again but it’s still early in the season some of the people I’m playing in the 800s are much better then a normal World Series player. I swear if I took it serious enough to get a real setup monitor and better controller hardwire internet I’d be a 1000 player easy. But this season I’m noticing my input delay more and more. I just wish I could play on some of these guys I play against setup and put them on my setup… I know bad days games etc happen but I feel like I’m better then I’ve been playing so far this season and if anybody watched any of my games this season I think they could agree I’ve been victim of some nasty rng. I literally have a clip and screen shot on my PlayStation of a blown call to end a ranked game earlier I tagged up from 3rd with 85 speed 95 ovr j-ram and u can very obviously see his hand touching the plate and there’s space between posadas glove and his arm that would have sent it to the 11th and that’s kinda the icing on the cake for me today and maybe this season thinking of buying Forza 5 till 6 comes out and playing mlb more casually which casual for me is probably still more then the average person. Like fr some of the people I’ve been playing lately gotta go buy a lottery ticket or smt.

Well you keep the game as it is and do something about the cheaters.
Video with Adam playing a top 10 player scoring 6 runs on legend in Coors Field. Sure looked like someone playing without their cheats. Would be interesting to see how many runs that guy scores when not playing a streamer. Here's what I think is happening. SDS saw how many people are cheating and was scared the player base would dwindle. I actually think more people would play knowing cheaters were being dealt with. I think there are way fewer elite players than people think there are. Like way fewer.

I haven’t rly gotten to a high enough level to face any cheaters this season rly maybe only 2/3 I suspect of it but for me this season the killer is the rng. Feels like it’s in the script for me to lose some games I deserve to win. I just get rly sus when pitcher is going with max confidence has 10 ks in the 5th looks untouchable then the guy loads the bases and perfects a homerun after looking stupid for the first 5 innings and u go on to lose despite out playing the guy.
Sorry for the venting answers I just need to vent about my experiences today because it’s making me never wanna pick up this game again.

Cheaters are at every level. They are not using their cheats 100% of the time or it would be too obvious. They are toggling them on and off and mixing in contact swings. Just as I've said before, I could use it and beat you every time and you wouldn't have a clue I was using it. Fools a lot of people.
Over 1/2 the people I've reported have not played a game this ranked season. Could be banned or maybe they haven't played yet but usually these people are on every day.

@DemIsE4_XBL this is very interesting I am usally never shy to report even the slightest suspicion I will report immediately. I’ve never thought of going and checking if they have played since tho cause some people I’m sorry they just turn up at the most predictable times sometimes. Not to mention my normal flipping well is running dry margins are aweful rn. I just have no motivation to play atm and usally I try to support this game. But I’m gonna let the dust of today settle tomorrow is a new day if tmro and the next few days go like this i may turn more casual.

I've reported probably dozen people or so. Only wrote down the names of 7 and 4 of them haven't played this season. 2 of them were recent and either weren't or they haven't checked yet. Hell, maybe they haven't checked any or they weren't cheating and haven't played. Who knows?
Usually if ban waves happen there are posts about it so I don't think they have addressed the issue yet. If they are only going off reports, that is a bad deal and it will only get worse. You have to be proactive. If you're going to make stubs hard to get and make the best cards cost lots of stubs, at least tackle the cheating issue. Milking for money and not addressing cheaters is unacceptable. If you think those cheaters in that discord are the only ones in the game, you are sorely mistaken.
